   We’ve lived in Bath for 5 years, eating out regularly. Pomegranate is simply the best restaurant we have been to in that 5 years. It’s in Walcot Street, a great bohemian part of the city. The restaurant interior is lovely - high ceiling, full width bar (with chandeliers !) and table nicely spaced apart. Decor is relaxed and muted, on three floors. Service staff were friendly, relaxed and very knowledgeable about the entire menu. Oh, but the food - wow. We chose the ‘Efe’ chef’s selection, which was four cold meze dishes followed by four hot ones. Tzatziki, bean salad, melitzano - then hummus with chorizo (epic), beef stew, king prawns -all genuinely delicious. But the real genius here is how the owners/ chefs managed to pick 7-8 dishes that are very different in taste and texture, but blend together so perfectly. As we left we asked ourselves ‘when did we have a meal as good or better than that ?’ and we still haven’t managed to answer that question. Good luck to this newish restaurant, they deserve every success

   A group of us went for dinner just before christmas and the food was delicious, we had a mix of mezze and mains and everything arrived in good time and was really flavoursome. Service was attentive and friendly and price reasonable. We'll be back in 2025.

   We were a party of 6. Nice table in a corner. Good service at all times except for the final hot drink Great range of meals and drink. All our food was enjoyed both meat and veggie. It was in a old church , very high ceiling Well worth a visit, good value

   Good vegetarian menu. Delicious food. Friendly, efficient and attentive service. Tables were well spaced apart.

   Very disappointed. Had to ask 5 times where our drinks were - and it was water. Main course of lamb shank on mash was cold & tasteless. Also served with 2 large florets of cauliflower dumped on the plate. Main meal was not charged for in the end. BUT … was so annoyed as d’Or Hal day out & had been long in the planning. Not enough trained staff!

   Service was excellent, efficient and friendly without being intrusive. The food amazing and super value for money. We recommended here for our meal and will definitely be recommending it other friends.

   Beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous chapel building. Menu choice was very good, food delicious and reasonably priced. Service was also friendly and efficient!

    As a first time visit to Bath with many restaurants this wonderful find was a gem . The Pomegranate staff were very polite, offered advise and gave swift service.
