   Excellent Italian food in a non fussy but lovely and smallish space. Good service. Relaxed. Excellent value in both food and wine. Would definitely return.

   Poeta is phenomenal! The ambiance is great, and the service is even better. Perfect date night spot! Arancini, gnocchi, and meatballs are must orders.

   We had an amazing experience ar Poeta! Every dish was original and delicious. I highly recommend starting with the tuna carpaccio. The ravioli with crabmeat was divine and the cesar salad is the best I’ve had. Such a lovely atmosphere with great service!

   Second time we have dined here when visiting Austin. Our server was Chloe, she was really pleasant and very attentive. We very much enjoyed the tuna carpaccio and roasted cauliflower dishes to start. Those dishes were amazing shared between my husband and I. We ordered the meatballs and the short rib gnocchi for our entrees - WOW to the chef/s! Flavours in these dishes were outstanding. Melt in the mouth meatballs with a hint of fennel and silky smooth polenta and the beef in the gnocchi has a little roasted edge to it - so delicious!!! Can’t wait to get back to Austin to dine here again 10/10!

   I had high expectations because of Intero. The food here was below average. They sat us outside in a patio area which was unpleasant. Wish they gave us a heads up where our reservation was so I wouldn’t have gone.

   First time dining at Poeta. Food and service was excellent!!! Our server (Devlin? Female) was friendly and prompt with everything. Highly recommend.

    We ordered almost all the starters and were blown away with the bean dip, arancini, and tuna carpaccio. We had steak and two lovely pastas. We were so surprised by the unique and complex chèvre cheesecake! We cannot wait to go back.
