From Umbria to the homes of Carefree, Pizzicata brings our family’s recipes and an enthusiasm rooted in sharing Italiano cuisine with Arizona and the world.
We are proud to be the first pinseria in Arizona.

What is Pinsa?
Long before the days of pizza, Pinsa was introduced and crafted by the Romans using wheat, soy and rice flours as the main ingredients in the dough. The resulting Pinsa contained less gluten, less carbs and less fat while maintaining a crispy yet light crust when baked therefore making it more digestible yet still delizioso.

    It was busier than usual, but the staff handled the crowd and the kitchen handled the food. It's always one of my favorite spots! Eggplant parm can't be beat!

    Exceptional service for our large party of 30 during our annual ElliptiGO club event in Carefree, AZ!! The food was delicious and delivered with personalized detail for every individual. We’ve had excellent feedback from everyone in our party & can’t thank Noah at Pizzicata enough for accommodating us so well. A relaxed chill combined with great timing & attention to every detail is a very rare find!! We are very grateful & look forward to coming back again next year!!

    We had such a great dinner last night at Pizzicata! There were 6 of us and we all had something different and loved it all from bruschetta to pizzas to pastas to the Tiramisu, everything was so good! Thanks for a fun family night trying a new place that we will come back to :)

    The wait staff, (including even the busboy!) was some of the best service Ive seen at a restaurant up in Cave Creek/Carefree. Place is always one of our favorites because of the unique menu items but also because it feels like you are in a very family oriented environment. From the bus boy to the bartender to the server, you are very well taken care of. The cheesy garlic bread was a bit bland this time, the mozz sticks are nothing special, but the sauce and the Pizzacata pizza and the Amatriciana more than made up for it.

    My husband and I ate at the restaurant a few weeks ago and had a good experience. We brought a couple friends with us this time and it seems like once we were given our food we were forgotten. Our server never came back to check if the food was OK and never came back to offer refills on drinks.
