Inspired by the best pizza of New York City and Naples, Italy.

In 2005, Annie and Craig Stoll annexed the space next door to their James Beard Award winning Delfina restaurant fulfilling a long time dream of bringing Neapolitan-inspired pizzas to San Francisco. The 600 square foot space was an instant neighborhood hotspot, and Pizzeria Delfina became the ""darling of the San Francisco food scene"" opening a second location in 2008 to popular demand.

In 2014, Annie and Craig expanded into the Peninsula with Pizzeria Delfina in Palo Alto.

This energetic, farmers-to-table restaurant serves up Neapolitan-inspired pizza complemented by a daily-changing roster of seasonal antipasti, piatti (small entrees), beer, wine and more. A family-owned business, Pizzeria Delfina is a neighborhood establishment through and through that continues to bring people together around fresh, handmade, delicious food in a warm, casual atmosphere.

    Really enjoyed our experience. We got the pepperoni pie and the provolone with the spices was amazing. Wasn’t a huge fan of the saffron arancini but it was gooey and delicious just the same. Our server was amazing and the place looked cozy and busy.

    The food and service were amazing and the outdoor seating area was beautiful. Only setback was we saw rats in the vines throughout dining. While wildlife cannot be fully controlled, keeping up with pest control to limit this is ideal.

    Made a reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything was perfect! We sat outside under their massive heaters (wasn’t too warm or too cold), had 2 pizzas and dessert (complete with a cute birthday candle), and service was friendly, attentive, and great!

    Comfortable place to hang out and have a pleasant, delicious meal with friends & family. Service was superb. Our waitstaff was always friendly & asking us if we needed anything. I would go back again. The outdoor seating was warm & inviting.

    First time at the Palo Alto location. Thank you to Melissa who answered all our questions. We split an Escarole Salad, Mussels and Funghi White Pizza (Hen of the Woods mushrooms, panna, fontina, nepitella). Highly recommend the Tiramisu!
