Pippis is in a fabulous location with beautiful views. It was a big improvement on our first dining experience during the first week of opening, the staff were much better trained and attentive. The food was very good but we had to wait some time before all four of us had our main meal even though we all ordered the Calamari, one came out with our salads but it was about ten minutes before the other three arrived. Disappointed the pizzas aren’t available till after 5 as they are fabulous. My only other criticism is the heat, even with the fans going. We were in the under cover area but the clear roof even with the fabric draped roof just doesn’t cut it, a sold roof is needed. It’s still early days but improving all the time.

Not sure what to comment as disappointed. Only positive is: - dogs allowed - BYO Best of luck to the guys at the grounds would have expected more from an organisation with a reputation. Not sure how it will go??? 3 weeks on and different friends have same expwrience.....so not changing from the results

Overall the vibe and setting were great, just what Cronulla needs! We were seated at the back near the kitchen and it was very hot and noisy (even though it was only 24 degrees), on a hot summer day you will need more air circulating otherwise it will be unbearable. Starters were great however the mains of fish and chips and chicken a let down both very dry.

We were unlucky to visit last night during heavy rain. The place was a little difficult to locate, we had to ask someone walking by which direction the venue was. Upon arrival, we didn’t know where to go to advise we had a booking. No one at the very front to greet us. Once we worked out where to ask, we were advised the tables weren’t ready yet as the previous bookings were taking longer to leave. We were offered a seat on the stools until our table was ready. The host, I think she was, was very friendly and accommodating. We even had Adam apologize for the delay to being seated. We were seated several minutes later and the first thing I noticed inside was the noise levels. We had to scream at each other.. Very uncomfortable. A waitress came over to take our order practically immediately it felt like, so lucky we were ready. We’d forgotten beforehand of the BYO policy, we were offered table water when we ordered food, the water never arrived. I got up and got my own after waiting 10 mins or so. We then had to flag down a waiter to ask if there were any other drinks than water. They brought back the menu and we ordered fresh juices. No mention or any requests for different drinks, other than water. I understand these are new staff and there are still teething issues. But it was really an odd night.. Food was good, it came out relatively quickly. When almost finishing our entrees, were asked if we were ready for mains.. we were a little taken aback and said in 5 mins.. all felt a little rushed. All in all, I’d go back during the day to see what the difference would be, but at this point I’m underwhelmed.

We were there in their first week and it was obvious they were having some teething issues. Whilst the food was very nice there were timing issues bringing it to the table and we had to follow up on both starter and main when the last dishes to the table seemed to be forgotten. We were given the dessert menus at 8.05pm and we eventually got to order at 8.20pm when we were informed that we could have dessert but the coffee machine had been switched off! WTF! There was no routine or training for the wait staff and we had numerous staff asking if we had ordered etc, rather than being looked after by one person. The restaurant was very noisy that night which possibly added to the frantic atmosphere. We hope they can improve on these issues as it is in a great location and a welcome addition to the Cronulla dining scene.

The meals came out with some incorrect ingredients parpadelle pasta with wrong dish hardly any seafood with seafood pasta with wrong pasta. A dish with sausage without sausage. However all tasty enough. Still settling in I guess but overall a lovely venue & hopefully they will do well. A good addition to Cronulla’s dining scene.

Such a great location and beautifully styled. Unfortunately the food and menu were less than impressive Not enough selection of healthy options or gluten free options for lunch. I know there are always teething problems but you overlook these when you have amazing food but unfortunately we didn’t We will try again but the menu needs a rethink
