First time and was excited with the menu so had to try but was disappointed with the food. Drinks were on-point with good selection of wine and great cocktails - 4.5 Star. Starters were mixed with Mezza plate excellent however Smelt plate was very floury and tiny. Main meal is where it sort mixed. The octopus salad tasted good without the Octopus. The Octopus itself was overcooked or not fresh as it tasted like sponged bread. The Branzino was fried instead of grilled and lack flavor a 2.5 star.Instead it we served with large wedge fries and some broccoli to fill the plate. The Cioppino was good nut a little on the salty side 3.5 star. The Lambshank was good - 3 star. Finally the Angel Hair pasta was good 4 Star.

Outstanding all around. Our server was friendly and helpful and the dishes we chose were well prepared, unique and incredibly delicious! We shared the grilled calamari appetizer, octopus salad and special featured vegetarian dish of the day which was a stuffed butternut squash with quinoa, chickpeas and very fresh well seasoned vegetables. Finished off with “ grandmas” honey cake which was likewise delicious, light, flavorful and the perfect end to a wonderful meal Friendly welcoming staff and great atmosphere. A little tight in space but loved the booth seating which afforded a sense of privacy

It was hard to decide what to order from such a diverse menu. But when we finally decided, everything was delicious. Our server, Robert, took great care of us. They helped make our friend's birthday celebration memorable.

Living in Laguna Beach we are struggling to find good restaurants. Most are closing. Therefore, We have been anticipating the opening of Pinafini. We are so happy that it did not disappoint.

What a new Laguna gem! We went to celebrate a friends bday and it was an exceptional evening. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was both delicious and hot! I look forward to the next time😍
