Beautiful restaurant, impeccable service, really nice wines, even by the glass. Small portions of food, but we did not leave hungry, as is sometimes the case in French restaurants. The onion soup was not as rich and as flavorful as it could have been, the pate was a bit too firm and cold, and there was too much sauce on my fish. However, these should serve as suggestions for improvement, not as criticisms. The foie gras was superb, as was the crab appetizer. The short ribs were succulent and the bass sweet and flavorful. The grand manier soufflé was among the best I’veever had!

The food was amazing. Our waiter Angel was a fantastic host. The French cuisine made us feel like we were in Paris. The music was authentic French with a live French musician. Piaf gets my highest recommendation.

We were welcomed by our hostess to our table immediately as we entered the restaurant. The waiter was right there with the menu and wine list. The salad was good. Mushroom or onion soup. Both are excellent choices. The filet mignon was flambé at the table. Salmon was juicy with the right portion. The chicken was also very good. The dessert with creme brûlé had to be ordered in the beginning of the meal. It was excellent with coffee at the end. The music was sang by a live musician with a touch of southern France in the Cote D’Azur.

Piaf is an excellent restaurant and it saddening that one cannot reserve more often. Tables seem not to be open to often for people who like fine dinning and do not stay at Grand Velas. If it was available more often we would certainly go once a week and bring friends who like good food and good service

We ordered the chateaubriand and it was carved table side. The waiters couldn't be more accommodating. If we had time, we would have gone back again.
