   We took a Lyft to the place walked up to the door only to find that the doors to the restaurant were closed. No notes on the door nothing Needless to say our Lyft had already left so had to wait outside in the dark until another Lyft showed up All dressed up with no place to go and money waisted on a Lyft Shame on open table for accepting reservations for a restaurant that’s closed

   The food and live music was really good. I ordered lamb chops, they were sooo good. My waitress was so attentive. The crowd is a little older but we still had fun!!

   The music was a little louder than it needed to be for the size of the crowd. But the Zydeco Band was very GOOD. The service was slow, but learned that they're short staff. The food was very good & tasty. Cajun Dirty Rice was delicious! along with the crispy fried fish. We ate 100% of our meal.

   Honestly it pains me to write a negative review but I must be honest in my assessment especially if I want them to win and improve. Let's start with the positives, we were seated quickly, the wait staff and the customer service was excellent! (5/5). We went on a Saturday morning brunch time and expected a noisy crowd, however it was actually kind of moderate which was fine by us. (5/5). Now on to the negatives. Their voodoo eggrolls being their "specialty/a fan favorite" was quote disappointing. They lacked flavor and I'm not sure what the little sauce was on the inside but it was overbearing and over shadowed the crawfish and other fillings inside, and also didn't have much flavor. The price didn't live up to the value or product (1.5/5). I ordered shrimp and grits, these were ok, nothing to write home about. The sausage didn't taste like andouille sausage but rather a smoked sausage. (3/5). My wife ordered Catfish and grits. This was really good l and probably their best dish. (4.5/5). The ambiance seemed run of the mill "black owned lounge vibes and hookah spot", cookie cutter, you've seen one, you've seen them all. Nothing that would separate them from the others, which is a shame because you want to stand out in such a competitive business market of lounges and brunch spots. (2/5) We spent a little over $100 for both Entrees and the Appetizer which in our opinion was over priced, not because we are cheap but the food just didn't match the price, especially after haven eaten at The Breakfast Klub the previous day where we only spent $46, got way more food and the food was ELITE! Can't say we'd be back, but I still encourage you to try them out for yourself.

   The atmosphere was very New Orleans with the live band. The food was tasty for myself but my daughter ordered was not to her satisfaction! The service was poor! I did speak with the manager about my experience! I'm from Chicago and this was below my expectations!

    This was a great experience. We went on a Saturday evening, the service was struggling a little bit but we were patient and they took good care of us. The entertainment was on point. The food was on point. The drinks were on point. Do yourself a favor and hit this spot up, you’ll have a nice time!
