   The food was amazing! We had a seat at the bar and ordered some great drinks. After that we got the scallops for an appetizer and some entrees with a side. All were so good. We ended with three desserts which was the right choice because they all were so unique and delicious. Staff were very helpful and attentive throughout the meal. Cannot wait to go back.

   This was my first time I was there for brunch and it was over the top!!! I had the quiche with salad which was extraordinary. Next time my choice will be croque madame. The menu, drink selections are too good to be true! An unforgettable experience to be sure!! Diana Ivas

   Love, love, love Petite Vie. What a great addition to downtown western springs. It’s a classic French bistro with approachable casual French food that is reasonably priced. Outstanding cocktails too!

   The brunch menu was outstanding! Rob was a great waiter, and every dish was perfectly cooked. I had the best buckwheat crepe ever. The most fun was a Bloody Mary though—it had gin in lieu of vodka and I will be ordering them like that from now on!

   The food here is FANTASTIC. We had a rough start to our reservation with service. But they quickly recovered and made additional efforts to ensure our experience was good. Even the host was amazing. The best I’ve seen! She made it so personable like we were long time customers. The place is very loud and vibrant, so if you’re hard of hearing or are easily overstimulated by noise, may not be for you. The food is the best French food I’ve had. Even the couple next to us said the deserts beat out anything they had in France. Great job, Paul and team! Will be back.

   A delightful, upscale French bistro in the heart of Western Springs, across from the train station. By chance I had two dinner experiences in one week and both were special, from the service to the food. The price points are appropriate- for a special evening out. Appetizers and salads are enough for a meal if you desire. Wines are very good. If you want a more casual meal, eat at the counter. The Bistro burger is very good.

    My wife and I celebrated our anniversary today and everything was exceptional! We're learning French and planning a trip to France next year and thought why not have an anniversary date at a French restaurant and experience French food for the first time. The food was very delicious and the service was amazing. Everything from the foie gras mousse, French onion soup, and the house potato special and trout was delightful. ☺️ The ambience was good. While the music being played is music I listen to, I wish they would've played music that made us feel like we were having a romantic dinner in France, not listening to a U.S. Top 40-like radio station that I would typically listen to on the way home from work. I also wish there was more room between tables. I was sitting down scooched all the way into the table to not be in the way and yet I kept getting bumped into by the server serving the next table and the diners. I'll be sure to reserve seats in front of the chefs cooking next time. Seems like we won't be in the way much and watching the chefs cook seems like an awesome treat! 😄
