Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

Had reservations & had to wait 30+ minutes for a table! Asked for middle of front dining room but got last table facing back wall. Waiters timing was off. Waiting for long periods between apps & main. Pine nuts on 2 entrees were burnt giving the entire dish an unpleasant taste! Waiter just disappeared for extended periods & we did not tell him nor did he ever ask? The apps dipping sauce came long after apps were eaten. Also, We were celebrating 2 birthdays stated weeks ago on reservation, again earlier on our text rsvp & nothing was said to make our guests feel celebrated…Very disappointing!

My wife and I went to Pendolino last night for an early dinner before going to a concert. We ordered drinks and then a buratta pizzette as an appetizer to split. After that we ordered a pasta dish, the gulf shrimp alla vodka, as an entree to split. Everything was great. My only complaint is my wife's first cocktail, a Mama Mia, came to our table much later than expected, but the rest of the food and drink items came fast. We've been to Pendolino several times and will be back soon.

We ordered 4 small plates and each one was outstandingly delicious. You cannot go wrong with the fabulous appetizers/small plates. The portions were perfect. I did not feel like the portions were "not enough." We ordered 2 entrees, the halibut and the salmon. Both met my foodie friends' approval. I was so happy my friends loved the food. The service was so professional and polished. I was impressed. I highly recommend this restaurant. The parking is easy too.

We waited over one hour for our food to arrive. Some dishes were lukewarm. Shrimp pasta had very little shrimp. We used to love the restaurant. Very disappointing this time.

Once again, an excellent evening! The food is awesome! Tonight was the halibut - perfectly cooked! Also making a showing at our table - the lamb Bolognese and the sausage pizza. The pizza crust is sheer perfection. I could eat it with nothing on it! The lamb dish was excellent also. Yes, I had to have a bite of everything! Nathaniel was a good server. And by the way- have to give a shout out to Rashad - who knows how to connect with his customers to make them feel valued.

I liked the Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes from the small plates menu. The lamb shoulder entree was interesting but had quite a spicy kick. Perhaps our server could have mentioned that before we ordered it. The chicken Parmesan was ok and the swordfish thick but lacked taste.

You can always count on Pendolino for a great meal, delicious drinks, and the largest chicken Parm in Atlanta. Chef has done a great job, bringing his high brow, skill set to approachable, Italian food. Great environment, great team, great food. Triple threat!
