None truly embodies the true spirit of Ireland more than, Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub in Arlington Heights. What makes Peggy’s so unique is the fact that virtually every piece of the structure came directly from Ireland. All of the woodwork, including the bars themselves, were constructed and shipped directly from Ireland. Warm weather allows for tables outside around the beautiful perimeter. Children are welcome and free parking is available on the street and in a municipal garage just down the block. A professional staff, an inviting menu and an atmosphere that feels like Ireland all combine to make a visit to Peggy Kinnane’s Irish Restaurant and Pub an authentic and charming experience. This was my first bourbon tasting ever and I had a great time. The representative from Buffalo trace provided all sorts of information about each of the bourbons in the tasting Along with the bourbon they also provided a few snacks so we weren’t just sitting there drinking bourbon the whole time. I had a blast and I would recommend this experience and Peggy Kinane’s to anyone interested in bourbon and anybody interested in just having a great time

Overall Peggy’s is a good place to go with friends. Noise level was low when we were there for an early lunch. The dishes were all good with the exception of the meatloaf sandwich. The meat was dry and over cooked.

Everything was as I knew it would be which was excellent except for the noise level which I knew from past experiences would be less than perfect. However the noise level is what I have experienced at almost all restaurants. Of course, being 90 years old might have something to do with that. We were seated in a corner of the room and were able to sit side by side which also helped (my guest was also 90). A very fine and festive evening.

Met friends for dinner, our first time at this restaurant. Great decor and excellent food. The wait staff was great! Shepard’s pie was excellent, we will definitely be back.

They sat us directly next to a private birthday party. My grandparents struggled to hear our conversation which is disappointing. The main course came before the appetizer.
