   This was our first time visiting, and absolutely loved it. The ambiance and decor was nice, the service was great and the food was delish! Will definitely be coming back.

   Prior to the remodel we would often eat here for Mexican food. Remodel is lovely but the food isn’t really good for the limited pricey menu.

   The food was very good. Their homemade tortilla chips are the best I've ever had. The Guacamole was really good too. We all had different Enchiladas, beef, seafood, and classic cheese (Vegetarian). Their Mexican Wedge salad is one of the best salads I've ever had. It is really big so all three of us shared it. Super tasty, great dressing, lots of ingredients. Our waiter was very friendly, and all of the wait staff were good. The updated restaurant is very pleasant. The booths are big and comfortable. The place seems very roomy. When it comes to cocktails, they have some that are not listed on the menu. We had Cadillac Margaritas, which were good. Overall, a really good experience and we will definitely go back.

   Food was very good. Menu still has basics. A little more expensive than before renovation but food and cocktails are very good. Server was very nice but service itself was a bit slow. He did comp a drink. Will def go back.

   New owners so we thought we'd give it a try. 1-5-25. This is my first review for OpenTable. Service was poor. Took an hour to get the food. Waitress kept forgetting to get appetizer plates and a glass for the one of the beers ordered. It took asking two more times to get the glass. My water glass was dry multiple times and finely the waitress offered to put a bottle of water on the table. When half of our party was done eating, but others were not finished, we started getting nagged by other staff to pick up our plates. This could have been acceptable for a super busy schedule, but this was Sunday night, and the place was 3/4 full -max. OK, perhaps we got a waitress that had an off day so let's now talk about the food. The guacamole was quite good, and I liked the chips. But the rest of the food was below par for any Mexican food restaurant and not an expensive one. My wife's chicken fajita's looked good but was over cooked -lacked flavor. My combination plate: refried beans and rice were devoid of flavor, chili relleno was mediocre and the taco had tough beef at its core and the condiments were subpar. I had the beef enchilada with the green chili sauce -fair at best. I called our 4 other guests to get their input. They were un-inspired and concurred that the food was below expectations. They added that the beef fajitas were also not good and only ate a few bites and didn't want to take a to go box. They added that Margareta's and the enchilada del mar were also not good. Our bill was not cheap: $330 prior to tip for 6 people. We had 6 entrées, one order of chips and guacamole, two margaritas and two non-alcoholic beers and a non-alcoholic margarita. I had water and my wife had a coke. I tried to be objective and hope this review is received by the management so that they can work to improve the place. We won't be back.

   The guacamole was delicious. The dish I ordered had rice, beans and two enchiladas that had shrimp and crab. This was the first time I had this dish. I could hardly tell that there was any crab! The sauce for the enchiladas was very good, however next time my husband and I go to Pedro's I am going to ask them about the enchiladas that I previously had.

   This was our first trip back to Pedro's after the renovation. It is attractive, with a nice bar, lots of seating, and several rooms for either a private or semi-private function. Our server, George, was pleasant. The menu is quite small. One of our party wanted a burrito, but they are not an option. The tacos and the enchiladas were fine, but nothing special. It was a bit of a surprise to find that chips and salsa cost $7.00, and chips and guacamole are $15. Back in the day, chips and salsa were complimentary at Mexican restaurants. The salsa was OK, and the chips tasted like regular tortilla chips out of a bag - again, nothing special. I do understand that they need to make up their costs for the renovation, and the overall experience was OK, but at $100 for 2 people, it seemed a pricey place for lunch.

   The service was good. the food was just so so. Miss the authentic Mexican food. My boyfriend misses the carnitas. Bland food. No kick. Chips and salsa good of course.

    We heartily enjoyed a holiday late lunch/early dinner on New Year's Eve. Great food, attentive service and comfortable surroundings.
