We had a delicious meal, fresh ingredients, food cooked perfectly. Kudos to chefs. We did visit restaurant for first time on New Years Eve - waiter was pleasant and made sure we had what we needed. Ambience of restaurant was perfect for a night out. Will definitely visit again.

We did not have a good experience. It was 15 minutes after we were seated to get any water. Another 15 to 20 to receive our wine. 30 minute wait for our appetizer and 50 minutes for dinner. Waiter spent the evening apologizing but the service never improved. We also were seated upstairs which was very hot and smoky. We let someone else know what happened….just more apologies.

We usually love The Peak however, not so much this time. We went for NYE dinner. Our waiter was less than attentive, and when he was serving us, he was stand-offish and cold. He forgot our appetizer we had ordered. We waited about 10 minutes for mustard that we had asked for when we ordered. Our food tasted pretty good however, my daughter’s burger was so overcooked she couldn’t eat it. They mixed up her side dish as well. The appetizer of brussel sprouts were under cooked and not very tasty anyways. Overall, this was a less than ideal experience mainly due to our waiter. I think we will go back, but not for a while.

The Tomahawk Pork Chop was excellent, and the Shrimp & Grits, to die for. What a fantastic combination of shrimp, sausage, grits and MMMM! Will definitely be back for more.

The Thanksgiving buffet was fantastic. They were very accommodating when we had one extra person join us at the last minute. Service was wonderful. It wasn’t even terribly loud in there. The dessert table was fabulous.

Food was underwhelming for the price and the drink we ordered was not good. They took off the drink. The only thing we appreciated was the service. We will not be going back here again.
