   More bar than restaurant but the food was excellent. We both order steaks. Filet minion and NY Strip. Both were cooked to perfection and very tender. String beans were el dente and I prefer more cooked. Other than that, prices were normal. 2 diners, 1 soda and 1 dessert - $100.

   We booked right before we walked in. We asked for standard seating, but were seated at a high top in the bar. Initially very loud but quieted down a bit. Had wings and spicy Tenn fried chicken sandwich. Food was good and ample. Waiter was very nice and enthusiastic. Drinks were a little slow in arriving after ordered. Overall solid. New place that still is trying to get better. Lots of potential.

   In short, our group of four gladly ended up at the Parkside Tavern for FOUR hours. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and drinks with outstanding service and comfortable seating. Our server was phenomenal. He immediately developed a rapport with our table, allowed us to pace our meal, and made recommendations for all courses, specials, and drinks. The restaurant had a great vibe, which was further enhanced with live vocal performers later in the evening who gladly accepted requests. We enjoyed the ambiance set by the music without any distraction to our table conversation. In sum, our maiden voyage to the Parkside Tavern was a home run.

   Food and atmosphere were very good. Sat at a high top table with my son watching the snow fall in the park. Parkside is a really nice addition to Morristown.

   We had a good experience. The food was good and the atmosphere was also good. The wine list is limited but the options represented the major regions. Overall, I encourage everyone to try Parkside Tavern for an high quality Tavern experience.
