   Beautiful restaurant with original takes on classic mixed drinks. This is our second visit here and we will come again. Would be nice if a little acoustic tiles were installed. Worth the trip either way.

   Our party had curry w/chicken, coconut shrimp and scallops, poke, gyoza, and beet salad. Everything was delicious. The waiter was super fun and friendly!!! The only critique is that we couldn't hear each other speak, as there was a birthday party group at the other end of the restaurant. The room could really use some sound absorption work done. It's a loud room.

   My wife and I came for our anniversary. My wife ordered the rib-eye and I had the sand dabs. Both were delicious. The ambience was very warm and pleasant. Our server, Sergio, gave outstanding and very attentive service. I highly recommend this restaurant!

   It was an interesting night at Pangea last night. While we enjoyed our dinner, I can only give them a four star rating because of the noise. The food was very good and frankly, the beet salad was out of this world. There were a couple hiccups out of the kitchen but our waiter was very diligent in correcting them so no complaints there. Actually, my duck breast was as good as anywhere. My issue was the tables are close together and on a Saturday night the place is packed. The most used word in our conversation was “what”. We just couldn’t hear each other and carrying on a conversation was hard. I might go back to give it another try at a less crowded time.

   Always a refreshing stop when in Carmel. The staff, every single one of them, are sincere and welcoming. They are attentive to be sure your experience is spot on. The food is always amazing!!!!

   Food quality used to be very good. It’s not good now at all. 7 of us and nobody liked their meal. $800.00 and we’re sorry but we won’t be back. Looks like the new owners have dropped the quality of food. Bummer we’ve eaten here for years and sad to see it go down this way.

   Excellent appetizers ~ lettuce cups and egg rolls. Nice wine list, and Chicken Parmesan & Thai Curry entrees were good. Server was top-notch! Definitely will go back when in Carmel again.

   The food was okay nothing exceptional or something I’ll be remembering. Best single item was the clam chowder poke was bland seafood pasta also no flavor. The service was outstanding a little judgy comments of our server for the amount of food we order but we don’t have thin skin. probably won’t come back given the amount of great food options in Carmel.

    Overall, this is a really great restaurant. I've been there for breakfast brunch and dinner. Both meals were very enjoyable. The smoked salmon toast was delicious. The huevos rancheros are also really good. Next time, I really want to have one of those fancy Bloody Marys.
