   One of my favourite fine dining establishments in Honolulu - Chef Kevin uses local ingredients to create innovative dishes and just absolutely delicious. The prix fixe menu is also good value for the quality of ingredients and dishes that you get. Absolutely loved it and will visit again next we're in HNL.

   Service was excellent, ambiance was quant and classy, cocktails with exceptional and the oyster with caviar was amazing. I want to also say the short ribs and curry pappardelle were very flavorful. With all the wonderful things I just said why not 5 stars? The papparrdelle was hand made, but it lacked consistency and it was a bit too al dente for me. The main reason for taking a star away was that our entrees were served lukewarm, which we found to be a major misstep for this price point and caliber.

   This restaurant was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We felt like we were family. It worked very hard, not only to make us comfortable, but also to explain every meal very carefully and to make it very clear the amount of work and effort that went into it. It showed in the taste and the presentation. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. Chef Kevin and his staff were Top Notch, from the first drink to the final dessert. The quality of the food was extraordinarily great

   New Year's Eve at Pai was extraordinary! No one should miss an opportunity to eat at this stellar restaurant. The kampachi starter combined with beets surrounding a delicate sauce was outstanding, as was the roasted octopus which was tender enough to cut with a fork. The risotto was the best we've ever had. And the slow roasted pork shoulder, crusty with spice on the outside and tender light pink inside was excellent. Chef Kevin is the most innovative and precise chef in the islands. He combines top quality ingredients in unique ways that always tickle, not overwhelm, the palate. It is a pleasure to watch him quietly making his magic in the open kitchen With his spouse, Justine, and a friendly staff he has created a warm and comfortable ambiance as the setting for his food. This a special place for a romantic dinner for two or for a group of foodie friends to gather .

   Lovely pre fixe New Year’s Eve meal with wine pairing. Very attentive service but casual and friendly. Innovative and visually pleasing courses that complimented each other. Very close to the Hawaii theatre and Chinatown, but a quiet and restful place to relax and enjoy.

   Our Christmas Eve tasting menu was spectacular. I had the wine pairing, and my fiance went with mocktails. From the very warm welcome we received, throughout the entire night, we enjoyed every element of this dinner - food, ambiance, service, drinks. The mocktails were a surprise standout, not just an afterthought, and truly paired well with each course served. Chef Kevin is incredibly talented, creating elevated and nuanced dishes - each one living up to the one before. Justine looked after us all night and made us feel like family. If you have the opportunity to go here, run, don't walk!
