Ozumo is one of San Francisco’s most popular destinations for contemporary Japanese cuisine. We started dinner with gyoza and sashimi. Tuna was fresh and gyoza was very tasty! Had the Tokyo gyu (ribeye)! Hubby had black cod! Had trumpet mushrooms! All of them were delicious! Service was excellent! Enrique rocks!

Overall, great experience for my gf bday. Our server was welcoming and attentive. Nigiri plate good. Sushi rolls were so solid! Looked great tasted even better. Drink selection good. Ordered 3 cocktails and all were excellent, especially the ginger one created by one of the host. Having sumo wrestling on the screen while eating was a bit questionable. Would come back.

Our go-to high-end Japanese in SF. We must have gone probably 30-40 times over the last 10 years. It’s always a pleasure and always worth the price.

We had an amazing evening! Not only was the food to die for, our waitress, Victoria, was very nice (even laughed at my husband’s bad dad jokes). She was very knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic. it’s a little pricey but YOLO. The best sushis we’ve ever had (and we eat a lot of sushi).
