The crown jewel of the hotel, our rooftop restaurant Overlea (meaning, “over the meadows”), is a stunning open concept space with horseshoe bar, floor to ceiling windows, and breathtaking views of historic Newmarket. The menu is a celebration of seasonal simplicity created by Chef Jon Turner. With terraces on each side complete with greenery, lounge furniture and fire tables, Overlea is the perfect place for a quiet escape into an evening of the unknown. We had reserved festive brunch but restaurant had to adjust their menu . Food was good. Very relaxed atmosphere . The violinist added a nice touch . Good overall was good. A few tweaks here and there would take it up a notch . New service they have added to the restaurant so some small growing pains happening. Would definitely go again .

Went here for our first time and it was great! Service was good, view was very nice, and the food was great. Definitely our new “go to” spot for family and friends. Will be coming back!

I grew up in Newmarket and this might be the best meal I have ever had in town. I enjoyed the Lobster Bisque to start with the Pistachio Crusted Lamb as my main and both were delicious. The food is aggressively seasoned and didn’t lack in any flavour as far as I am concerned. The hotel and restaurant space are beautiful. It’s nice to see someone took the time to renovate a historic building and give it new life. The Overlea is 10/10 and I will definitely be coming back!
