A locally owned Madison favorite, Otto's is set in a beautifully restored 1870s stone farm house with two dining levels. The menu features creative, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, fresh seafood, Certified Angus Beef steaks and more. A friendly lower-level bar serves classic cocktails and fine wines, and half-price appetizers from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday – Friday. Outdoor dining and live jazz are featured on the deck Spring through Fall, weather permitting. Otto's is also open the first Monday of each month (excluding holidays) in the Spring and Summer when live music is being performed. Main level dining area is wheelchair accessible. Online reservations are available for the dining rooms only, bar and deck table reservations should be made via telephone. Reservations are recommended for dining in the bar, outdoors, and inside for parties of 6 or more. In the event your party is unable to attend, please contact us by phone to cancel your reservation.

We had a fabulous dinner. Food and drinks were exceptional and service was excellent. Out table was ready when we got there and service was well paced. We didn’t feel rushed but didn’t have to wait long.

My husband and I are local and visit Otto's a few times a year. My parents were visiting and it was my Mom's birthday so we opted to bring them to Otto's (their first time). My Mom has some physcial struggles and can only walk short distances. I notified the restauranta ahead of time and they made sure to prepare a table for us right by the door and on the main floor (by the ramp entrance in the back). The entire dinner my Mom felt heard and recognized by our server, Cheryl, who I thought was truly exceptional. Between the four of us we ordered one of everything, salad, chicken, seafood and steak and all of the meals were exceptional. They were cooked well, came with wonderful sides and my starter tomato bisque soup was delicious enough I could have taken a bath in it! Thank you to Otto's for being consistently great through the decades. You made my Mom's 77th birthday one she will remember.

This was the first time I have dined at Otto's. I have driven by the restaurant for years, The food was great...I ordered the Mediteranean Grill. I can't wait to make it there again and try another of the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant. As it is a house it was somewhat noisy and we were seated upstairs. The wait staff was exceptional. What a wonderful dinner

Had reservations for dinner but thought we would have a drink before hand. We sat at the bar and waited for the bartender. A waiter came in and got some soft drinks. Another couple walked in and handed them menus as he looked at us, without menus, and told the couple the bartender would be there soon. Looked at us again and walked away. Thankfully that waiter did not wait on us for the rest of the night. Everything else was great. Would highly recommend Otto’s.

The place is old and needs to be cleaned/updated. Our waitress was kind, but not super attentive. The food was great and the price was fair.

Too many stairs to climb. Reservation did not inform patron about different levels. Away from the capital area but if you have a car or Uber worth the trip. Brian was a great server.
