   Francisco and management made for such a nice dining experience. I have the lasagna which was OK. My friend had the salmon dish and she thought it was great. We got the seasonal squash salad that was excellent. Their bruschetta is always wonderful. Francisco makes it so much fun with his attentive service, smiles and happy personality.

   A Wonderful Dining Experience at Osteria Italian Restaurant I recently had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Italian Restaurant with seven guests, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Our waitress, Violet, was absolutely fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to entrees, every guest at the table was delighted with their choices. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dessert, which was a perfect sweet ending to our wonderful meal. Overall, Osteria is a gem that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine and excellent service. Thank you, Violet, for making our evening so special!

   No free dessert for birthday celebrants. For the fine dining prices, the least they could do is give a little something on the house, not just a free candle. The salmon was DRY! Mom could not eat it.

   An absolute gem in Palo Alto. A me of the oldest restaurants in town. The food and service has continued to live up its reputation all these years. A cozy, romantic Italian dinner with kind, warm staff in a little piece of old school Palo Alto. I highly recommend.

   The food was amazing and be mindful that the portion was quite large for us. The service was fair, Carpaccio was pretty good, the server showed us his way of eating it, and we loved it.

   We live and hour away and went back because the food was delicious. My second time there the waiter was incredible and so was the food. I will be back again.

    Maybe it was an off night, we all have them, but this is the second time dining at Osteria that we've felt it's not what it used to be after coming here for decades. Food was pretty good (gnocchi con burrata and carbonara) but service was off, flat and perfunctory. It was a Saturday night so I would expect them to have their game faces on. Sadly, not so much.
