   Cozy atmosphere and great service! Food was delicious and well prepared. I would definitely recommend ordering Frittura Di Mare for sharing. I couldn't resist trying dessert, and the banana cheesecake was the perfect choice.

   Charming spot, lovely ambiance. Our server was very friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations. Portions were generous and the food was very good. Well be back!

   We had a lunch, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, allowing for easy conversation. Our server was very attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The food was served in generous portions and was quite delicious. We left feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend Osteria Mattarello for a delightful dining experience.

   Despite what other reviews have said, our server was very attentive. She was new so if we asked her a question she’d have to go and find out the answer, but she definitely tried and you can’t fault her for learning the ropes. The food was good, not outstanding. I ordered a pizza that came with extra ingredients on it that weren’t listed on the menu. I don’t have food allergies so I just picked them off and ate my meal. This could be an issue for some people though. They really should list everything on the menu as I wouldn’t ordered something else had a known. We did mention it but didn’t complain about it and they offered all of us our coffee/teas/ lattes on the house. Otherwise the pizza was good but certainly not the best I’ve had. The space is small and even on a Friday night it emptied out pretty early so they closed the kitchen as they wanted to go home. The decor is nice and new, I would return but wouldn’t rush back.

   A nice new surprise in Richmond Hill...great food, although limited in selection for vegetarian and vegan folks. They are willing to accommodate and navigate your food allergies! The food is made fresh to order and you can taste the difference. The staff are friendly and kind. A bit of a wait, and although not very busy, still working through the opening kinks. I don't eat bread but my girlfriend does and it's nice to get that right at the beginning of the meal not towards the end...the food is worth the visit!!!

   booked this place for my birthday in advance and was truly disappointed. terrible service even though we were the only table there. we waited 2 hours for our food & each meal came 20 minutes apart, the experience was not good at all. our server also had an attitude and when I asked how much longer the food would be, she said “i don’t know”. food was great but that doesn’t make up for this experience

   Good recommendation of the pizza from the staff, we are very appreciated. The dessert is excellent with a candle and « Happy Birthday « . Thank you for the arrangement.
