   I have never been disappointed in the food here. Their salad dressing is something special I have tried for years to replicate, unsuccessfully. Today i had the ravioli with a special pomegranate sauce which was so good I ate it all which I've never been able to do before. This restaurant is pricey, the priciest in Davis so most of us reserve it for special occasions but it is definitely the best available and as good as any in a big city.

   My sister recommended Osteria Fasulo and it was wonderful. Everything from the antipasti to the secundi were deliciously prepared and presented. We especially loved the soufflé, mushroom salad, and ravioli in pomegranate sauce, and squab. They serve the bread with a parsley pesto! The wait staff was attentive and very personable.    Another great meal at Osteria! Took my parents for lunch today and Piper took wonderful care of us. Mushroom salad is still flawless and the veggie Agnolotti perfection. Always a total pleasure here!!

   We've been going to Osteria for years to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. It never disappoints and we look forward to many more dinners with Leonardo's crew.

   Upon arrival, there was an error on the part of restaurant staff and i had to justify my reservation. It was embarrassing. Second, my steak was severely undercooked and a filet mignon shouldn’t have an issue like that. It had to be recooked and my date ate alone while that happened. Third, the additional tip request after a forced surcharge amount is not professional. For $466 for dinner for two, I won’t be back for a while.

   The place is nice and quiet, very small and cozy. The food was really good and I was happy with every dish on the Valentines Day special. It was very pricey and they only serve beer and wine. I will go back for the food though.

   Lovely lunch. Wonderful flavors. Delicate. Attentive service. A bit pricey. Clothes need to be aired of cooking smells afterward.

   Osterio Fasulo is an outstanding Italian family restaurant. The head chef, Marcello Fasulo, is a young guy with excellent skills in food preparation. His dishes are delicious and are filled with fresh local ingredients. Of particular note worthy praise are his gnocchi. You will not find softer, pillowy gnocchi anywhere. Paired with his superb sauces they are a meal in themselves. Excellent soups and salads, appetizers and solid entrees make this easily the best restaurant in Davis and a very much under the radar choice in the Sacramento area. The place is small inside (about 12 tables) but it has a large outdoor seating area as weather permits. The servers are largely family, the menu changes seasonally. Put this place at the top of your “gotta try this “ list.
