Upon our arrival we had a 7:45 reservation they did not seat us till 8:15 pm. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks the bartenders were very nice. One of the bartenders asked us how everything was and we replied good but we have been waiting for our table for 30 minutes. He mentioned it to the host stand and they came to us promptly and sat us. When we sat we were huge fans of Gemma and we noticed that the Garlic Cheese bread is not on the menu anymore. So we just got a Salad a Fungi Pizza and the Brown butter Chicken. The Pizza was not that good we left half of it. We will come back for drinks , but not for dinning.

Always a good experience at Ospi. Consistently good food and service. I like how the Brentwood location is nice and feels upscale but not stuffy. This time had the spicy eggplant (my favorite), the roasted cauliflower (very good), kale salad (solid staple, always very good), pasta with sausage (good) and the dover sole (i don't eat this but my campanions loved it). I always find their pizzas and pastas to be delicious as well and the Butter Chicken is not to be missed.

Disappointed-We decided to try a Jemma restaurant having been given a gift certificate. We sat down to a long wait for a waitress. She actually served a table that came after us first. We ordered their special of cheese with olive oil-That was delicious and then two different salads which also were delicious-reason for at least 2 stars. Then the main course came-pizza and pasta both cold. Also because of slow service we were there longer than the 90 minute limit they post on the web. I think the restaurant might want to eliminate . The restaurant is very dark and poor lighting-I think that is actually what they want but if you like a bright restaurant might want to skip. The noise level is find but once busy you cannot hear conversation at your own table. The final insult is when I gave the waitress the gift certificate the restaurant would not honor it. Claimed they were not part of Jemma. We did not argue-However if you go on the web sure seems like they are. Brentwood has a lot of choices of restaurants I think they may want to consider that when training their staff

Brought a friend here for her birthday celebration. Our server made it feel like a special event and not just a night out to dinner. She was fantastic. The food was delicious and the drinks were a hit. What an awesome night!

Overall disappointment! Celebration for my best mate was under-whelming. Food: LESS than average; Service: you will feel RUSHED. Ambience: the ESCALATOR ride to the entrance was reminiscent of ascending to Target’s 2nd floor. HOST: After requesting a standard table that is warm and in from the cold—the hostess turned ‘salesperson’ talking-up a 2-top in the most windy and cramped corner of the outdoor patio—next to a large family party with tiramisu-hyped children. One can’t help but think that being relegated to the table closest to the ‘curb’ is predicated on how you LOOK; whether your image befits the ‘inside’-patrons. RUSHED: If you book on OpenTable you will be asked to acknowledge a 90 minute limit to enjoy your celebratory meal. It’s not unreasonable but, the servers and staff have NO finesse at this task: The kitchen rushing to deliver our entrees while we were still eating the Persian Cucumber Salad (the only really good dish of the night). The bus persons rushing to pick-up our plates then lowering again as we disapproved—still mid-bite. FOOD: The Branzino was so over-breaded it buried any freshness and flavor clarity of the sea. This (recipe) you do to catfish and add fries! The Cacio e Pepe pasta was artfully presented in a solidified swirl…which unfortunately stayed solid with the atrophied butter making it near impossible to separate the pasta noodles for each bite. Which resulted in a big ‘chunk’ being left on the plate. My date enjoyed the breaded cauliflower. We declined dessert, but were surprised at not receiving any small confection, a wrapped candy, or scoop—since the hostess made a point of confirmation for the birthday celebration. In short, the dinner at OSPI Brentwood felt like a bit of a BATTLE: to fight for our right to a decent table, to fight for our unfinished plates of food, to fight the lump of pasta, to fight for feeling special on a special occasion. So after, we went across the street to Bacio di Latte to wipe-clean our palate!

Good was amazing, the best table is outside. Drinks were really good also. I’d go back, it’s closer than Venice for me.

A group of 5 had lunch on the patio. Good service, excellent food! The pizza has a very thin crust and is delicious. The only wrinkle is dessert. We chose the ice cream sundae which was made tableside. The server did not mention the cost and I was very surprised that it was $30 - way overpriced. Overall, a very enjoyable lunch - just ask about the dessert cost before ordering.
