   It has been a long time since we’ve been to hibachi and it was just a wonderful time. I will bring my family and friends.

   Read the reviews and took a chance anyways on this restaurant. There is friendly staff, it just seems to me to be extremely expensive for fried rice. I ordered the lobster for two as we were in New England I figured, why not. I got confused if the lobster was a cocktail shrimp from the size of it. Kids loved it though and had a great laugh

   Very large variety. Service was pretty quick. Most meals were good, though the sashimi was served too cold.

   The food was quite good, but there are more things that make a restaurant a good one. We won't be returning. They didn't honor our reservation for 3 at the sushi bar, though we arrived promptly. In fact, they sat 3 walk-ins, who came in AFTER us at the sushi bar. We were crammed into a noisy, freezing back corner. Our waitress immediately asked for our order - before we'd even looked at the menu, didn't return once we received our order until she brought us the check (before we'd finished eating). So if you'd like more than one cup of tea, or a chance to chat with your companions, this isn't the place for you. If you want to bolt down your meal and get the eff out so they can flip your table, enjoy!

   For it being the only hibachi table dinner around it’s very good! I would suggest sitting at a regular tavle over hibachi table though; the show was so so and somehow I feel like I got less food. Overall, would definitely come back here! The sushi was fantastic and the food itself was really good!

   We would be passing through Northampton around dinner time, so I consulted OpenTable for a good place to eat. We really enjoyed the sushi at Osaka Northampton; the fish was very good, and the preparation simple, just right. The price was comparable to other sushi restaurants we have enjoyed. When we're back in Northampton, we'll strongly consider returning to Osaka Northampton.

   We made a online reservation for a birthday celebration, and included a note about that but didn't get any sort of birthday greeting or welcome from the staff. Not expecting anyone to sing or put on a show but it would have been nice to have it acknowledged. We were initially seated at the sushi counter, but the sushi chefs did not interact with us at all, and wait staff would reach over our shoulders to take food for other tables. It was very distracting and stressful. We then asked to be moved to a table, which was better, but servers were not very attentive. Food was good but not amazing, the grilled squid appetizer was a bit dry and overcooked. We ordered a sushi special for 2, along with an assortment of rolls and appetizers. The selection on the sushi special was a bit disappointing - it seemed to be mostly snapper and yellowtail, not a lot of variety, and fish did not feel like it was well molded to the rice. The special rolls we ordered were enjoyed. Everything was ok, and some things were good, but it didn't feel like the food or the service was quite at the level we'd want for a special occasion.

    We love Osaka ❣️ it’s always Wonderful from start to finish. Our favorites are the tuna& yellow tail Shashimi & the grilled Chilean Sea Bass. 😋😋
