   Me and my husband flew from London to Rome and booked this restaurant for my birthday. The experience was not great. We came on time but were seated half an hour later. Which was fine for us on that day but if we have booked something after the lunch we would probably would have been late to the next activity. The views were beautiful like the whole of Rome is - stunning. However, the food especially mains portions were silly sizes. My glass of wine was 20 Euros and my husband’s basic cocktail 25 Euros (ridiculous). We were given bread twice (we did not order) which we thought was complimentary but were charged for the two times 6 Euros. Nobody acknowledged it was my birthday on the day. Seems like for the price the restaurant wants to charge “high end” they could deliver a better service and pay attention more to the customers and their experience at the place.

   Tremendous rooftop views of Rome, Victor Emmanuel memorial etc. Rare for top locations this establishment has superior service and a very finely arranged selection from appetizers, through salads, main course and ofcourse desserts all with an excellent Somalier to aid in your selection of wines.

   Wonderful restaurant with a beautiful view. We had lunch and it was the perfect time to take a break and enjoy great food and a laid back atmosphere. The service was top notch and everyone was very friendly. The food and cocktails were also excellent. There was no feeling of being rushed. The servers walked us through the menu and gave recommendations when asked. The afternoon started off raining and they had the area covered but removed the cover as the sun came out which made the experience even better. 10 out of 10 would absolutely recommend and will certainly be eating here whenever I am in Rome.

   The description of the restaurant was a rooftop dining experience with a beautiful view. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were ushered into a basement type foyer and dining area - we were informed that the rooftop was actually a cocktail bar and we could finish our meal with a desert up on the roof with the acclaimed “beautiful view.” My wife and I ordered a bottle of water, two starters and left - we paid our €64 tab for the terrible experience and vowed not to return. The false advertising of a “wonderful rooftop dining experience” left a very poor impression of the establishment.

    This was an outstanding eating experience.The staff went above and beyond to make our night a truly unique night of wonderful food and the best italian service etiquette. We ate dinner downstairs and staff explained each dish with 2 surprise dishes which were amazing. Every bite was a new taste experience. We then headed upstairs for dessert with breathtaking views. So glad l booked here and would strongly recommend Oro Bistrot to others. Grazie
