   Flawless. From start to finish everything about it was superb. The greeting the door, when we arrived, the service throughout, the main restaurant and lounge, the wine, and the food (of course the food!), the attention to detail, all if it incredible. It was our first time (and our first time in a two star) and we’d wanted to go for ages, and we weren’t disappointed. You build it up in your mind for a long time, and it still exceeds. I could move into the lounge area and just live there forever.

   Fourth time visiting and it was incredible. Fabulous food, great team highly recommended. An experience like no other.

   From arriving, it was a fabulous set up, the lounge where we we had cocktails and canapés was lovely, then after half an hour we were taken to the restaurant upstairs. Course after delicious course arrived and were beautifully presented and explained. We thoroughly enjoyed them BUT as soon as we took the last bite and put the cutlery down, the plate was whisked away before we’d even chewed and swallowed. I did comment each time ‘ that’s too quick’ and it meant that we felt we were on a conveyor belt and rushed. We’d driven up from Kent ( booking an hotel for the night) and arrived at the hotel literally 40 minutes before our seating time and so we were wanting to relax but this meant we were rushed. And as soon as we finished our last course with wine still in our glasses, they wanted to move us back to the lounge for coffee and petit fours but I refused saying I wanted to finish my wine. As we commented to each other and compared it it to Aulis/Raby Hunt/ Frog/ L’enclume/ Roux at Landau/ Gavroche/ Fat Duck etc.. we decided this was far far too rushed and at that very moment I got my phone out and booked Aulis for our 5th time. Nice though Opheem was, I think we’ll stick to our Aktar at Home deliveries that we’ve had for the last 4/5 yrs and have them relaxing at home. The staff were excellent but the management have decided to maximise revenue by processing customers through - very sad.

   Our third time back at Opheem, first time back since it has been awarded its second Michelin Star. WOW! The food is simply out of this world. The flavours and the just sheer brilliance of the food and experience make it the best restaurant to visit. Its a MUST!

   Wow! What a meal! That’s the first time I’ve eaten at a 2⭐️⭐️ restaurant, the whole experience from start to finish was exceptional! The attention to detail, everything was spot on. In total 16 courses of food, and I couldn’t pick a favourite! All were amazing! Opheem, thank you for a truly memorable experience

   Most of the food was exquisite but I was a little underwhelmed by the desserts. Service felt a little too quick, had to ask for a break between the dessert courses. I would book earlier than 8pm for the 10 course menu

    2nd visit and absolutely phenomenal. The staff, the service, the food, the drinks, the venue are all amazing. It’s so obvious that every single member of staff cares, the attention to detail is beautiful to see. 10 course tasing menu took us 5 hours really couldn’t be faulted. Very relaxed atmosphere and enjoyed every minute. We will be coming back again.
