Located on Macleod Trail, Open Sesame offers a wide variety of Pan-Asian cuisine. Our menu features everything from the traditional favorites, to the more personalized design-your-own stir-fry. In addition to our full bar and wine list, we offer an extensive Asian and imoprt beer list.     We have two rooms that can be booked for private groups. Our first room, the Opium Den, is a tented style room that can accommodate up to 20 people. Our second area, the Indigo room, sits perched on a small balcony overlooking the restaurant. This room can seat 8 people. These rooms tend to book up quickly, so advance reservations are recommended.

    Great as ever. Sorry to see the teriyaki riblings off the menu though. Service was wonderful. We had a great time.

    Service was good. I had the hibachi steak, a dish I always order because in the past has been amazing. Tonight it was very sub par. The meal used to be served on a hibachi pan and this time it was not...the meal was luke warm- I hate that! I am diabetic and can’t eat rice so I asked for a vegetable- they charged extra me for that! Funny how when you take a food off of the plate, they don’t reduce your bill! The meat was tough, gristly and mediocre. The edamame was very tasty and served hot. For $40 I could have gone to an upscale steak joint and been very satisfied. I won’t return. There are too many restaurants in the city that are more reliable and give me value for my money.

    Brought my family visiting from Ontario. We had such an amazing experience! Stephen our server was a 10 out of 10 !!

    Food was ok, not horrible but not great. Server did not come back so we had to go find her to get another bowl as the one she gave us had old food stuck to it. Not sure If they were understaffed. Even if they were it sucks as the dining out is all about the experience...food and service.
