   The bartender was spectacular and so attentive; the waiter and assistant were equally good. AND THE FOOD is TERRIFIC. We enjoyed everything from the raw bar, a surprisingly picante Wedge--- Surf and Turf, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Filet mignon, and the grilled tuna with sides. And, the desserts were equally delicious. GREAT VALUE compared to NYC or Westchester premier prices. THANKS for the wonderful supper.

   We had an awful experience at this restaurant. We were there for a family celebration on Mother's Day. There were 7 of us. The inside is beautiful with a great bar and decor. At first the staff was friendly and attentive. We were disappointed that it was a prefix menu which had not been advertised. We placed our order, received our appetizers which were very good. After that things went downhill. It was at least 45 minutes before our dinners came out. Our waiter never came to the table during that time. The dinners were terrible. Lobster tail was overcooked and impossible to remove from the shell, the steaks were overdone and tough. The manager came over at one point and we told him the steaks weren't good, and he said "that happens sometimes when the kitchen is overwhelmed" - a very poor excuse. The chef also came to the table complaining that he was down 3 people in the kitchen. we told him the food was not good; he shrugged and told us to have a good night and went back in the kitchen. Our waters were never refilled, and our waiter disappeared. The desserts arrived and were only fair and very small. I ordered a cappuccino which came out way after the dessert's had arrived and it was so scalding hot, I couldn't hold the cup. Our bill was $800 for a terrible meal and even worse service. Stay away from this restaurant.

   This was my third time coming here since it changed from The Dolphin to One Pier Steakhouse. Unfortunately this was not the best experience. I was taking a friend out for her birthday and it was pretty empty. We ordered the baked clams appetizer and I ordered a Manhattan cocktail. For entrees I ordered the lobster ravioli and my friend ordered the shrimp scampi . She asked if she could substitute the broccoli (which she can't eat for medical reasons) with another vegetable. The waiter said of course, we can give you spinach but it will be $2 for substitution. Now it clearly says on the menu to speak to your server if you have any dietary needs. She told him that for medical reasons she is not allowed to eat broccoli. I pointed out what the menu stated with no disclaimer of a substitution charge, Again he said this was the policy, so he will have to check with the chef. We waited about 10 minutes and the appetizer came - fried calamari! Told the bus boy that we ordered baked clams - he gave us a face and walked away. The baked clams finally came but I still did not get my cocktail. I called the busboy over and asked if he could remind the waiter about my drink - which came about 5 minutes later. We asked about the substitution of the spinach for the broccoli and the waiter said that the chef agreed to do it for no charge. FINALLY the food came - Can't complain about the food!! SERVICE - No so great, especially since the restaurant was pretty empty. No sure I will go back.

   My family enjoyed this restaurant when it was The Dolphin and now enjoy it as Pier One Steakhouse. Evidently the owner has a long history running restaurants and it shows! Highly recommend.

   Parking was very hard as they had no valet or a parking lot. For a Saturday, the place was kind of empty. They sat us fairly quickly. The table had a candle but they never lit it. It took me asking 3 times for them to light the candle. Then they asked tables near us if they want it lit too. I told the waitress it’s my wife’s birthday and if they can do a birthday candle and celebrate. She said they will make it special when the dessert we order comes out. Dessert came out and nothing happened. I asked the waitress about it and she said, oh we forgot. Overall, good place but they have to improve the service 100%. I won’t go there again and honestly, I don’t think they’ll be in business for long.

    Went with a table of 6. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. From drinks, appetizers to main course everything was great. Totally redesigned restaurant. Elio and his family know how to run a restaurant and make you feel welcome.
