Enhance your experience with our beverage pairing, focused primarily on sake with select wines. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for any dietary restrictions to help us prepare. While we strive to accommodate requests, not all can be guaranteed. A 20% service charge and a 6% healthcare mandate will be added to your prepayment, along with any additional menu items ordered during your visit. My husband and I were flying into SFO and decided last minute to go for dinner upon arrival. At 3pm we made our reservation online scheduled for 8:30pm later that same evening. Our flight was delayed due to bad weather in SFO and we updated Omakase via text message immediately advising that we couldn't make 8:30pm. Omakase responded asking if 9pm worked - we said yes. We arrived at the baggage carousel however our baggage did not make it. We texted Omakase again to advise of our situation and stated that we would not be able to make the reservation (again we booked at 3pm the same day!). There was no response. 25 minutes later we wrote back, again saying we did not have luggage and only the same full day travel clothes we had on - not in line with dress code. Finally they responded asking if we wanted to reschedule for another date - we declined has we were travelling to a wedding event in Napa. Our credit card was charged for the full cost of 2 tasting menus...$725.78 CAN. Interestingly in the act of offering us reservations for a different date Omakase implicitly waived this egregious penalty - my brother-in-law is a lawyer, we are considering whether it is worth further time and stress to pursue legal action. Shabby service considering we can prove our flight was delayed and that we didn't receive our luggage until 5pm the next day...I hope they take steps to rectify this situation...if they can't under legitimate circumstances, I think it should serve as a warning to anyone considering booking a reservation at Omakase.

Having perfection served to you on plate after place was delightful. I was transported back to the very best sushi places we visited in Tokyo just a short time ago. JOY

wonderful fresh seafood and amazingly thoughtful accomodations. would have preferred some more consistent service regarding pouring the sake.

OMG!!!!!! The BEST sushi experience I have ever had in my life. Granted, I've not been to Japan, but this was outstanding. And expensive. Worth. Every. Penny.

We had an amazing dining experience at Omakase. It was more than just a meal. I guess I did not know that this restaurant mostly serves sushi. Our personal chef Jason Zhan asked what our favorite types of fish are. Then he expertly prepared the fish to be served for each course. Every bite we had there was absolutely delicious.. The chawanmushi with king crab and black truffle was beyond delicious. Fabulous restaurant! Excellent service made it a perfect meal.....
