Outstanding in every respect. From the charming host staff to the professional, informed server to the superb food. We will be back many times, I’m sure. I would give Olive & Oak six stars if that were an options. An absolute gem.

We had an incredible dining experience! Justin was super thoughtful. He knew we were splitting one of the meals and had the kitchen do two separate plates. He brought out a special drink for our 21yo birthday as well as let them pick a dessert! We love Olive + Oak! Justin was the perfect server for us!

We’d heard praises for the place and tried it on a Friday evening in January. I didn’t think it was bad, but that it wasn’t up to the price. A few dishes had seasonings that I thought were odd—which is sometimes a good experience, but these were neither bad nor that interesting either. The Suzuki Sea Bass entree was quite good. It was about 6:15 on a Friday and finding a place to park was hard. We were about 15 minutes early for our reservation and had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated (not excessive) and we were offered a small (but oddly spiced) complimentary margarita while we waited. After being seated, we were waited on promptly. The place was very full, so it was rather loud. It took about 20 minutes to get our salads (fair enough) but it was an additional 50 minutes before the entrees arrived (not a fair time). The manager or owner came to the table and apologized and offered us free desserts (nice!). Both desserts were good. I realize some of these things were perhaps out of the restaurant’s control, so I don’t want to sound too negative but for the same price I think we could have a better dinner experience elsewhere. We might give it another try on a less busy night.

Olive and oak is out absolute favorite in St. Louis. We also love the Jeramy and Curtis! Outstanding food and service.

We attended Olive + Oak to kick off New Year's Eve at $95 per ticket includes bubbles, table appetizer, and three-course savory meal with takeaway sweet treat. We added the option to add on wine pairings. What I got was two dates, passed over for the other appetizers, and the meal was far from “savory.” The plates were more of a taste than a meal. Also, the “take away treat” is far from a dessert. A 3 course meal consists of dessert, main dish, and appetizer. Two dates, three pieces of candy, and small meal (1/2 cup soup, 3 oz of meat) should not cost $95. The cost is not worth what you pay. The plates were more of a topas style dish than as advertised as a four course meal. Starting off 2025 by paying more and getting less hopefully is not an indicator for the rest of the year. Save your money and just dine in the restaurant side.
