Our house has served many functions in its past - a post office, a general store, a filling station - and for the last 25 years we welcome you into our home celebrating life& milestones or just simply an elegant, gracious, and tasteful Southern dining experience!

We serve classic Southern fare like our famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits plus amazing modern Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients by our Executive Chef. Visit our Attic Bar for live music Thursday through Saturday nights!

    LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE ATTIC BAR - please see schedule on live music page of website for performances! The Attic Bar features unique live entertainment featuring local music, comedy shows, and more! The bar opens at 5 pm Wednesday-Saturday and our full dinner menu is available there during those hours. Seating is limited, so reservations are suggested and walk-ins are accommodated when available. Tickets are $5 per person and a credit card is required to reserve them. Credit cards are charged for reservations post event or upon cancellation the day of the event (walk-ins are charged upon admission based on availability).

    We hadn’t been to the Old Vinings Inn in a decade or two and I’m so glad we came back! The food was delicious!!! Crab cake was awesome. Vegetable pasta with added protein was great. And our service with Leer (sp?) was wonderful. He was perfectly attentive without being overbearing and he made a great recommendations. The outside looks like a fire trap but the inside (we sat on the indoor sun porch) was updated and very nice.

    Absolutely LOVED my first experience at the the Old Vining Inn! We were a party of 5 and sat outside with amazing service. Oscar was our waiter and very attentive and knowledgeable. Every single one of our meals was incredible and we all expressed how we will DEFINITELY be back. The Eggs Benedict with the crab cake was so tasty and the portion was large so I had some to take home. The salmon omelette was divine and the Fry basket was perfection. Can we talk about the coffee as well? Wow! This place is truly a gem and great for a date night or family night. You can really dress it up or go casual and it gives that fine dining feel without the fine dining price tag! This is my new favorite spot and you can tell the chef really puts care and quality into each dish. I literally felt like it was an experience and not a rushed franchise restaurant would be. I prefer to patron a small business rather than a franchise and you can DEFINITELY see that this restaurant lives up to the hype! I can’t wait to go back!

    We ate upstairs in the bar so naturally it was loud. We enjoyed Hannah’s music greatly. Rick took great care of us and added so much to our evening with his jokes. He was very attentive. Wonderful evening!

    Our Waiter Leer did not understand how to follow instructions, I specifically requested the bill and he gave the bill to the other couple as he stated they gave him a credit card first. Very disappointed the staff can’t follow simple instructions! Even the hostess knew, not good! Debra 678-772-8471

    Our monthly dinner club met here this February. We reserved the Sunroom for 6 people. Very nice room, but noisy from foot traffic on the stairs. Closing the door is highly recommended. Service was excellent. Cocktails were on point. Food was good also. Only food complaints came from two that ordered the pork schnitzel. They said it was bland and very dry. The fried chicken and bone-in beef short rib were the standouts and the center cut fillet was a close second. The charcuterie board was excellent as well. Glad we visited and may return in future to try their brunch.
