The terrace and views of the Estuary make the hotel restaurant one of Fowey’s favourites. You can expect fine dining and with our delectable menus for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, it’s a treat not to be missed.

The bright restaurant leads out onto a spacious terrace where on a sunny day you can enjoy afternoon tea (the Cornish way, of course, jam first!), a pre-dinner glass of champagne, or a long and lazy lunch.

It’s a great spot to watch life on the estuary unfold, from boats of all shapes and sizes to the local wildlife which includes resident swans and the occasional dolphin.

Our expertly selected wine list is crafted to complement each course on the menu.

The service and whole experience was unobtrusive and delightful. Service was welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and innovative!

Everything was delicious and well presented. We were a large group of 10 and the chef managed to serve us all simultaneously . We thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Food was fine, we had a table looking out to the harbour which was nice, however we felt the place just lacked any atmosphere. This may have been due to the quiet night, which seemed to be throughout Fowey that night and indeed most evenings here after about 8.30pm.

Been here many times, always very good. Had a mixture of appetizers all very good. Hale and Cod mains excellent one of the best fish we have eaten. Good service nice ambience. Will be back soon.

Expensive and food was good but not exceptional. Service was the same. Lovely position with views of the river.

The warm smoked mackerel starter was superb. The room lacked atmosphere but the food and good service made up for it.
