With 40+ years of experience under his belt, he does not fail to deliver the absolute best product that not only speaks for itself but is highly decorated. In 2024 alone we have 4 top tier awards from Double Golds to Double Platinums with multiple spirits in each category. Barrel aged in the heart of Fort Collins, our tasting room showcases not only the Old Elk product but also harbors some of the best mixologists and food offerings around. In house made syrups and highest quality spices make for coveted curated cocktails and mocktails. Our tasting flights go through the Old Elk branches of whiskey, vodka, gin, bourbon cream, and flavored whiskies. We can also tailor to the most sophisticated of whiskey drinkers. Awesome drinks. Didn’t like the fake out on the closing of the tasting room. But the bourbon is delish and so is the staff. Food is good for a bar.

Disappointing Experience All Around From the moment we walked in, it was clear that service wasn’t a priority here. We had to ask for basic essentials like silverware, napkins, and even plates. Our appetizer arrived alongside our main course, and despite requesting ranch dressing when we ordered, we had to ask three different people before it finally arrived. Our waiter never checked to see if we wanted additional drinks, and we had to request water refills multiple times. The restaurant wasn’t busy enough to justify the level of neglect we experienced. And the charcuterie board? An absolute disappointment. For $30, we got Chex mix and a handful of water crackers—not exactly what you expect for that price. If you’re just looking for a spot to grab a drink at the bar, this might do the trick, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anything more.

Local small location for tasty drinks. Great ambiance. Food was good - but they “dropped all the vegetables “ on the floor so our sides and my salad were lacking all the vegetables and they made no accommodations on our bill. If our son hadn’t been with us we would have discussed with our server, but we didn’t want to make a big deal out of it.

Sadly, our dinner experience was terrible. The manager and staff were rude from the first confirmation phone call and mistreated our young adults who didn’t do anything wrong. We will never eat there again.

Very good mixed drinks and the Elk Burgers were amazing. Nice to have a small and inviting place in downtown Fort Collins. Would go back anytime!

Service was okay, although it took a long time for our simple meals to arrive. Food was nothing to get excited about. Will be taking this one off of my list of places to dine at in Ft Collins.
