Excellent chef service. The food was so well presented and one of the best omakase’s I have ever had vs. NYC offerings. I would say the bar service could have been better but that’s how things move in Tulum. Overall delicious recipes with different flavors coming through and nothing overpowering the flavor of fish. Desert was excellent as well. Could have more Sake pairings given price of omakase.

Amazing food and presentation/experience. Many restaurants on the beach are overpriced and not worth it but this was NYC restaurant quality. One of the few here.

The best sushi that we have ever had! Isaak and Kat were superb. The hospitality was like no other and we have been everywhere. By far this has been the BEST sushi that we have EVER had. You need to try it!

It’s a good experience overall. Prices go accordingly to the food but coming from NY I think it’s a bit outrageous to charge already an 18% tip. Is not obligatory and it’s above the standard-15% that what is the average for tipping in Mexico. I really disliked it. I even witnessed an American guy asking to adjust it to 15%. Something to consider very seriously.

Really good omakase experience at Oishi. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was memorable. They put special care into every dish they make and do a good job of blending traditional Japanese with regional flavors. The only feedback is there were a lot of variations of tuna tartare or tuna dishes. Don’t get me wrong, I love tuna but some variation would have been nice. Other than that it was a good experience even during the off season! We will definitely be back.
