   Just wanted to share my recent experience at Octopus Kitchen. We arrived early for our reservation, but it took almost 30 minutes to get seated. Seriously, what’s the point of a reservation if you can’t honor it? We ordered some appetizers and drinks to celebrate kick off our date night, but I was super disappointed when things didn’t go as expected. The vibe wasn’t even packed, yet we were rushed out with a 90-minute table rule. I felt like we barely had time to enjoy our meal! The food definitely didn’t match the stunning pictures online, and the service was just plain horrible. All in all, not what I hoped for on a special night out.

   Reservations mean nothing at this restaurant. Once you get there get in line as soon as possible. Also Valet is pretty much mandatory.

   I booked a reservation and proceeded within 10 minutes.. the kicker though was they sat us down to a table that rocked so bad we asked to be seated somewhere else..Nope a guy came out with a match book and put it under the table.. plus the had us sit so close to the other table that we was bumping arms with people we didn’t even know we just got up and left.. and paid 22.00 dollars in parking fo a 10 min stay because of service..

   No complaints with staff just not good food ! Nothing seems authentic the kitchen reminds me of a hole in the wall bar kitchen. Everything was microwavable.

   We went to have Octopus. 1st I ordered beer. They had no draft and only corona. But they was out of that. We ordered octopus and the waitress came back and said that they was out of octopus! Really! Octopus is in your name and u don’t have any! We canceled or order and left. Ridiculous.

   They seated us at dirty tables, waitress had an attitude and barely checked on us to see if we needed anything, took us 20 minutes to get utensils to eat with our food smhh. Then I ordered the “Surf n Turf” and my steak was undercooked , asked to get it cooked more they said that the kitchen was closed and was too late to. Save your money or go somewhere else.

   Eating here on Valentine’s Day was not a good experience. I made reservations for 9pm but couldn’t make it at that time so I made a reservation for 10pm. Arrived and still had to wait outside to be seated. If I made a reservation why do I have to stand outside? Finally got seated after waiting outside for 30 minutes. Ordered the mussels and the lamb chops meal which included basmati rice, asparagus and sauce. The mussels came with bread and I added salmon on the side. They ran out of mussels, asparagus and rice. I ended up ordering oysters and salmon. And for the lamb chop meal instead of rice we got potatoes. The potatoes were cold. Overall the experience for tonight was not worth it. If you close at 2am you should always have food available.

    This was our 1st time attempting to eat here and it was a horrible experience. We had 8:30 reservations; however, when we arrived, there was a line of folks outside of the restaurant. No one greeted us, outside of the security, only to check our ids. Reservations were pointless as we had to wait outside in the cold past 9pm. When we were finally approached by a hostess, we were told that it would be an additional wait. I know it was valentine’s day but clearly they over booked themselves at the cost of potential customers. We ended up just leaving the line and eating somewhere else. There were many people who left the line as well.
