Oceans, a locally and globally inspired seafood restaurant, was founded by Vancouver’s award-winning Toptable Group with the philosophy of creating a timeless and approachable dining experience. We were looking for a good seafood restaurant and found an outstanding experience! The food and the service exceeded expectations. The sommelier assisted with a wonderful wine selection which complimented the food. Our server was perfect in her delivery. And the chef definitely knows how to prepare and present seafood. The cod is amazing. Given we come to NYC somewhat regularly, we are glad to have found this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Always excellent food. Not our first time there. However this time we felt like our waitress was rushing a bit and wasn’t around much. We had to tell her “wait” once before she bolted off. Not life changing, but my husband didn’t like that part

Over all a nice experience. It would have been amazing if not starting out the night on a downer with the hostess making us wait 45 minutes for a table with an empty restaurant. I don't know what she was trying to prove but it was unnecessary and ridiculous. We had a 6 pm reservation but got there at 5:20 PM. The place was literally empty. Made no sense at all as you would think she would have wanted to get us seated and turn the table over.

The food at Oceans is always delicious, but it's Anetta who truly makes the experience special. She is the best server—attentive, caring, warm, and incredibly on top of everything. Oceans is lucky to have her on their team. While we return for the amazing food, it's Anetta's exceptional service that keeps us coming back. I’ll always request her as my server. Thank you, Anetta, for making every visit unforgettable!
