    This is one of the best restaurant in downtown Indianapolis. A top notch date night location. The food was very good. We both had the fi-let mignon and they came out perfectly cooked and very tender. The crab cakes are delicious also. And if you’re looking for outstanding service with attentive staff along with very good food then this is the place to go to. I will definitely be a repeat visitor.

    We had a great experience at Oceanaire. From the moment we pulled up and were greeted by the valet to the coat check and Host who seated us. Then we got introduced to our waiter Jeff! Jeff is an amazing waiter. He made sure we had an experience not just dinner. Jeff described each section of the menu and specific dishes with their possible finishes. He made recommendations and was always there but not intrusive. My husband likes sweet tea and although Oceanaire does not have sweet tea, Jeff got some regular iced tea and went to the bartender for simple syrup. A trip he made several times. Jeff also made Sue we had plenty of extra plates so we could share bites among our group of 6. Then dessert! You should just skip even looking at the dessert menu and get the Key Lime pie. Our group makes an (almost) annual trip to Key West and so we know Key Lime Pie. This was the best I have ever had!! It was rich and creamy, the graham cracker crust was thick and held together but still soft enough to cut right through. Fresh whipped cream topped it off and I speak for all of us we were stuffed when we left. Leaving was also a great experience. The coat check and valet were very nice and quick. The Pacers game had just let out but our car was delivered immediately. All in all a great night out.

    Excellent meal. Oceaniarre has really gotten better lately. Exceptional service by Mr. Poppovich. King crab was overpriced.

    My husband had the halibut. I had the salmon. Unfortunately we both ordered our fish with a lot of stuff on top. We should have just gone with simple grill or such. All the toppings seemed to overshadow the fish I was particularly disappointing that I could not order a coravin poured wine in a larger size. 6 ounce was my only option.

    I usually don’t go out on NYE, restaurants are super packed and staff way too busy. Oceanaire was staffed up for the big night and everything went smoothly. Food was delicious, service was great!
