   Waiter and waitress were lovely. However restaurant completely ignored my booking request for trying to make my friends 70th birthday special. Even ringing me to say there wasn’t anything they could do would have shown more care than nothing. It’s clear they don’t read it , so no point putting the option there for this restaurant.

   We went to the restaurant for Sunday lunch to celebrate an 80th birthday - seats are comfy, atmosphere is fun and lively but easy to chat and enjoy the view. Food delicious, good portions and staff are excellent. Well trained, excellent service. I would recommend Ocean View for whatever the occasion and don't forget to book ahead to ensure you get in there. Attached is also a coffee shop with amazing cakes and cream teas. So whatever you are looking for this is your place in Plymouth.

   Very poor service, no condiments on the table or offered had to ask. Food was very slow and then arrived in cold plates and was like warm. Very Disappointing

   Enjoyed a lovely OV breakfast and as it was on a BOGOF offer was really good value. And wonderful with the views as an added bonus.

   Good breakfast sat at window overlooking Plymouth Sound. Staff were brilliant, friendly, interactive and efficient. Will go again

    This was to be a nice meal out to celebrate my wife's birthday. Our previous experiences of eating at Ocean View have all been positive. Sadly, this occasion was disapointing even though I had flagged on the booking that it was my wife's birthday. We asked for sparkling water and when the bottle arrived there was no attempt made to pour it for us. The food, I had a burgher and my wife had a steak for mains, was fairly uninspiring. The desserts arrived poorly presented. Overall this was not the evening I had hoped for and we left feeling disappointed.
