   The DTC location is perfect for those who don't care for downtown headache. From the easy parking to a fantastic greeting, Ocean Prime DTC offers an unforgettable experience. We celebrated a birthday with 6pm reservations for 2. They had birthday confetti on the table and we were in a superb booth location. The food, signature drinks and wait staff are top notch. Let's not forget the portions are more than expected.

   We have dined at Ocean Prime in Larimer Square before, but this was our first experience at the Denver Tech Center location. The decor is nice, but the place operates like a corporate factory where you are not so much dining as being "processed". The greeting at the front desk felt like the old Saturday Night Live skit whose punch-line was "And you are... and I would know you from?" where even Jesus was treated like a stranger without merit. Our server, Dakota or something like that, seemed like he was in a hurry to be somewhere else. Every interaction and decision was hurried, and our conversation was frequently interrupted in order to serve his agenda rather than ours. That the conversation volume level was very high didn't make matters any better. The manic way that even the water glasses were refilled was intrusive and unnecessary. I'm not sure who thought this was a good service model, perhaps the corporate denizens of the DTC are more thirsty? The food was just okay, not great, and certainly not commensurate with the prices. We soldiered through as we were entertaining clients, but for a well-paced, relaxing, and enjoyable dinner and conversation, this corporate "factory" is off our radar.

   The food was very salty and the wait staff was mediocre. Dessert was really good and the oysters were fresh. Overall we would not go back as there are better places for the price.

   We all thought it was a solid happy hour! Very good food & drink- 4 of us on a Friday late afternoon - Great lounge menu with good pricing! Nice bar space! We’ll be back!

   If you haven't had the opportunity to experience the ambiance and food at Ocean Prime in the Tech Center, what are you waiting for? There are few restaurants today that offer this type of ambiance and service (and of course food!), so pls treat yourself and go! And hope that Joe is your server if you go for lunch!
