   The craft cocktails are original and delicious. Their drink menu is on an iPad, which makes it easy to see each drink, its ingredients and a photo. I enjoy how the drinks are themed each month. We had a Dungeons and Dragons theme along with a Lord of the Rings theme. I had the Wild Shape since I am a fan of ginger beer. My husband had the Shadowfax, which was so good that he wants to replicate the drink at home. He also gets The Rock, which is a staple for him as a bourbon drinker. The food was delicious. Jacob was our server and he was very attentive. Our food was well timed with cocktails coming out first. We had the Burnt End Pork Belly as an appetizer, which was good, but I prefer the Bacon in a Glass - candied bacon with a peanut butter sauce. For our main entrees, I had the Scallop and Wild Mushroom Risotto. Very tasty. The scallops were grilled to perfection and the dish had a very creamy texture. My husband had the Steak and Cake. He got the smaller filet size and felt it was a bit too small. The crab cake was good, too. We skipped dessert because we were so full but the dessert menu was not something that knocked my socks off (not a bad thing!). We are not Lexington residents but every time we visit, this restaurant is a must since it has never disappointed.

   OBC is one of only three or possibly four restaurants in Lexington that we consider 5 star for the Lexington area. Outstanding food and service, and the prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend OBC and you should make reservations far in advance for weekend dining!

   Our waitress was so helpful in deciding which meal we wanted. My boyfriend got the ribeye with macaroni and cheese, and I got the scallop dish. Both were fantastic and full of flavor. Their drink menu was also amazing. I got the white wine sangria. It was perfectly paired with my meal. And was very refreshing. We will definitely be back.

    Not our first time at OBC but tried new items. The burnt end appetizer was very good. The calamari was mostly crust and not much calamari. Two of us had the pork chop and mine had good flavor but was a bit overcooked and dry. It was served on a yucca mash that was very off putting because it was texturally a gummy paste. One person had the salmon and she said it was delicious except for the arugula that appeared to have no dressing. Our final diner had the red snapper special which he enjoyed. The bar serves a wide variety of bourbons and craft cocktails that are always very good. Our waiter was top notch.
