   The Fried Green Tomatoes app was delicious. We were also very pleased with the Calabaza Halibut and the Scallop Risotto.

   As someone who has enjoyed dining here before, I was shocked at what has happened to the place. Having always dined previously in the Bar area, which I would now call the "adults table", we were seated in the adjacent, "kids Table room" on this visit. We would have needed sunscreen to work through the intense lighting, ear plugs to drowned out the yelling kids at 8:45pm on a Saturday btw, and a crash helmet to avoid knocking ourselves out after being seated directly underneath a menu board that hung over the table. We were willing work through things if we could just get the lighting adjusted, but told by the manager that the lights on a timer and cannot be changed....really? Were we offered another table? Nope. Simply did not seem to care. Good news is we left and were able to find a wonderful experience and one of the best meals I have had in awhile at a fine dining establishment across the road. Love me some Drakes and Malones, which share ownership with OBC, but will not be back to OBC, nor recommend to anyone we meet. Sad writing this, but folks should know that if you are not seated in the main bar area, to expect a much different "Ponderosa Experience".

   I love the relaxed ambiance. The food was great. All members of our party enjoyed their meals, so I would definitely recommend OBC and I will be back to try other dishes. They all looked delicious! Service was well-timed and friendly. Excellent Food and Service!

   Cocktails were interesting although not great. Candy bacon appetizer was good. I had the scallop and mushroom risotto. Risotto was ok. The scallops were over cooked and has a burned taste, nit delightfully charred, burned. My wife had the pesto pasta with shrimp. The shrimp were overcooked. Our meal with 2 cocktails each was $169 w/o a tip. Too much for the quality of the food.
