Everything we ordered was delicious - salmon, short ribs, pasta, desserts. Of course the wines are very good and that’s why we are members. Service was a bit slow — understaffing perhaps? But our server was delightful.

Waiter was great, very attentive. The only issue we had was the french fries were luke warm and soggy.

Table ambience was very good, as you are seated amongst the barrels of aging wine. A negative was the temperature of the environment. Food cooled quickly. Cave was very noisy! You could hear every table’s conversation due to cave design. Food taste was excellent. Service was very good.

We ordered the fries with tri-tip green salad and cheese on top. The seasoning on the fries was excellent and they were really crispy. The tri-tip was tough and had a re-heated taste. We both ordered the rib eye steak medium ., the first few bites were amazing and perfectly cooked. As we progressed with our meal the steak became tough and dry. I am assuming it wasn’t allowed to rest before serving. The steak was served with a hash or mashed potatoes. I wasn’t sure what it was., but it looked tasty. It was potatoes, corn and something green . We were very disappointed with the lack of seasoning. Overall the food was okay. I wouldn’t return for the food . I would go back for the wine. It did have a good vibe out side with the lights and the live band . Overall I would recommend the winery , but not the restaurant.

Discombulated first thing that comes to mind. Are members here, but cancelling pronto. Wines ok, food terrible. Made open table reservation and it was a why bother. No one at front hostess station so went into tasting room. Told person we made lunch reservation and 2 parties… no reservation who just walked in were seated and we were still left waiting to be seated still waiting for front end person to acknowledge we too were there for lunch. Lots of employees there but were not working well together. Ultimately the very first person we talked to in tasting room to assist us was finally instructed to find a table for us. Go figure. Ridiculous! Once finally seated…Ambiance…say what? Cold, uninviting and again left alone far too long waiting for menu and service. Ordered simple salad with chicken as added protein. Almost chocked with how dry the chicken was. Salad mediocre at best. Service…forgotten. Went back in to tasting room so we could pay and move on with our day. Done here! Fortunately many others in Temecula we love. Head to Robert Renzoni! Great food, wine and service. Trust me.

Love that seating areas were expanded and the live music. We have visited several times but was disappointed that we were celebrating our 11 year anniversary and even though a note was made when reserving there was no acknowledgment. Also not sure if under staffed but took 10mins just to get our order taken, then no utensils were provided so we had to get up and get our own from the hostess area since no one was around to ask.
