   The gnocchi and the tuna are so well prepared we can’t try the other dishes. We have to have them! The broccoli is the best anywhere!

   This was our first visit to Northside Bistro, but we will definitely be back. We had Caesar salad and Beef Wellington, both superb. The service was also excellent.

   The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a delightful mix of Italian, French, and New American dishes. The seasonal cocktails were also very delicious. I can't decide which I liked better- the mango martini or it's about thyme, with actual thyme frozen in an ice sphere. We started with the Pork Belly appetizer, which was perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. I normally don't like Pork Belly, but this was very good. We also had the artichoke- not as good but we finished it. For the main course, I had the smoked short ribs and grits and my husband had the gnocchi with beef tenderloin — both cooked to perfection. Dessert was a treat; the vanilla creme brulee was the perfect sweet ending. Service was impeccable — Ashley was attentive yet unobtrusive, knowledgeable and ready to make excellent recommendations. We'll definitely return!

   First time visit and can’t say enough good things about this “hidden gem” in North Raleigh! Menu has something for everyone and we started off with fried artichoke hearts! Just wow! Our entrees were braised short ribs and the beef wellington! Over the top amazing! And the sides were not just an afterthought either. Nice wine offerings, great service, relaxed atmosphere….. look forward to many more visits!

   Three of us went for dinner--first time at Northside Bistro, but not the last. Great cocktails and very good food which included orders for duck confit, salmon and beef short ribs. Everyone was very pleased. The restaurant is spacious and open, very good wait staff.

   Disappointed with Harvest salad and that the usual salmon dish wasn’t available. However, the onion soup broth was delicious even though the amount of cheese could have been cut in half. The tuna was very good as was the meatballs. We liked our drinks. Prices though appeared to be inflated for the holidays
