   The location is excellent with a fantastic beer garden and dining area. The bar area is too small and crowded. The issue with this restaurant is that it is open to everyone to walk through so you spend your time eating with fairly tight table arrangements with people walking through from the bar to the courtyard past your table. To make this worse, there are only two toilets (which are mixed use) located in the restaurant, which everyone uses, so when this venue is busy, it is often not a very nice place to be. Overall, the food was poor. My main consisted of mash and cabbage with a poorly cooked pork chop, tbf it took me back to the 70s. The staff are ok but we were repeatedly getting asked the same questions by different staff members! The reality is they have crowded the bar and restaurant into two tiny spaces and lost the rest of the pub area because they turned that into a B&B or the like which seems strange to me but I assume it is all down to the money coming in from renting it out but by doing that lost what could be the making of the venue. We will only use this venue for drinks in future, the garden is a sun trap and excellent. The restaurant is not an ambient place to eat (which it should be) because they are trying to do too much in there!

   Not our first visit to Northbrook arms, It's a super pub with friendly staff, however slightly disappointed on this occasion with the wait for our food, which staff didn't offer an apology and we were not food checked either, fortunately the food was delicious and we did enjoy a few games of complimentry interactive darts afterwards which more than made up for the small negative elements to our visit this time. We would recommend Northbrook Arms and will be back again.

   Amazing service and food as always, highly recommend for a Sunday roast, the burgers also tasty and huge portions!

   Fantastic Sunday lunch. Managed to get a last minute table for 8 and they couldn’t have been more accommodating or attentive. We were on our way back from Devon and it was so easy to find and we all thoroughly enjoyed our roasts (pork, beef and chicken). Thank you, we hope to return some day to try the accommodation!

   Had dinner with friends, first visit but definitely won't be the last. Such a lovely place, great food and service.

   As we were attending for Mother’s Day and were a table of 7, i was asked to pre order. This was an easy process before the day. We were seated straight away and drinks order taken within 5 minutes of arrival All good was available which was great and everything tasted fantastic. The cauliflower cheese was the best we have ever eaten at a restaurant. We had a very enjoyable dinner

   Lovely atmosphere, great food. Service was a bit slow with our drinks order, however it was Mother’s Day and extremely busy. Overall a great place.

    Absolutely love this place! Food is incredible, staff are attentive, ambiance is just right. The only critique is the food portions are way too generous. Some might say that’s a good thing!
