At Nori Bar, we make a darn good sushi handroll and are proud to say so. Our handrolls meet at the intersection of the freshest seafood from Hawaii and Tokyo, fluffy Koshihikari rice, and hella crisp nori. This isn’t your grandpa’s traditional sushi restaurant, but that doesn’t mean he won’t like it, too.


We built this restaurant to offer a high-quality sushi experience to a wider audience. So come in, kick back, and roll with us.

    Wonderful new handroll restaurant tucked away behind Ward Theaters. But they're more than just handrolls- the hamachi carpaccio was excellent and they had a five piece nigiri sampler, which can be either raw or seared (we chose seared and loved it). Service is fantastic and sushi guy was friendly and helpful. They also have a full bar but I didn't check on sakes. There is valet parking ($6) or perhaps park for free at Whole Foods. $100 for two of us, and we were full.

    Note, only has bar high stool, no table. Other than that, all were great! Love the way they operate! Will be back regularly! Happy New Year!

    My son and I went for lunch and it was such a pleasant experience- easy to order. The rolls came out fast and so fresh and delicious. Loved everything about this place small intimate yet spacious.

    Definitely get the truffle ponzu and the chopped wasabi. If going with a group order the uni tray and add your own uni to every bite.

    A great place for a quick bite however the Rolls seemed smaller than previous visits and the fish in a couple of the rolls were almost too cold

    GREAT place and food really enjoyed it. I just wish we could order off a menu not the app it really takes away from the experience having to look at my phone between each order and scrolling through to see the options.

    Sushi was perfection ! Service was amazing! Very attentive and fish was very fresh and very nice selection of fish and Sake. Will be returning for the blue crab rolls, aburi and scallop rolls !

    Enjoyed the Rollmakase. For the price, good value. The crispy, crunchiness of Nori-excellent! Sake Flight: 6 different samples for the price, another good value. Restaurant very clean. And wonderful local music on their Muzak system. It’s worthy of a follow up visit 🤙🏽
