With signs of life stirring and anticipation building, the lights are officially back on in the historic Fairmount Hotel’s corner eatery. This is a hidden gem in the heart of San Antonio, my sister was craving good pasta, this restaurant came on the top, service was amazing, food was delicious, tartufo was perfectly cook and properly seasoned without truffle being overpowering, cinghiale was rich with a sober Texan touch. Given it was open bar, we ordered paper planes which were well balanced. Highly recommend this for a chilled night out!

Server was so nice. Ambiance cool. Ordered the signature cheese wheel dish for $70. It was delicious. Not sure if $70 is a reasonable price? Could be?

Since we were celebrating NYE at Nonna we decided to go downtown early…so glad we did!We enjoyed a delicious meal starting with warm, homemade focaccia bread and olive tapenade followed by their Insalata Verde and the Atomica Pizza. Their selection of Italian wines is superb, so of course we shared a bottle of Gavi. What a perfect start to a wonderful NYE, especially since we retuned there for NYE dinner! Don’t miss this restaurant in 2025!!

Strange and disappointing experience. The first time I’ve ever had tasteless spaghetti carbonara. How is that even possible? And they had no pizza even though it’s on the menu “because the dough isn’t ready yet.” (This at 1;45 pm.) nice ambiance, great service. But no flavor.

Was very excited to try this place. Service and ambiance is nice. Overall very disappointing. The calamari, tartufo, and asparagus was extremely over salted. The lamb was very delish. Not sure how they managed to over salt three dishes. Would not go again but our server was nice. We did have to wait over an hour to get our entree. Biggest takeaway is they over salt the food past the point of enjoyment.
