Beautiful space, the ambience alone is worth a visit. Sat at the bar, as we were early, for cocktails and had the pleasure of being served by a very friendly bartender. We had to go back to the host at reservation time for our table since this is what she told us we had to do, very strange. We got our table and was greeted by our server. He was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and a pleasure to interact with. His recommendation of the crab dip and the popovers were spot on, delicious and perfect. Our meals and drinks were timely, well presented and well prepared. Prices are on par with Vegas. A very good experience and worth a visit.

Unfortunately the service was slow and my steak was overcooked and very tough. It’s a beautiful restaurant, but. I think we caught them on an off night.

I expected this to be more of a fine dining experience, but it ended up feeling more like a Disney pretend version. The library setting is dimly lit and atmospheric. It’s what led me to make a reservation. It’s a cool space for sure. The service was good and just the right amount of attentive. The food is what let me down. The lobster in the lobster risotto was like rubber, it was so tragically overcooked. They should have never have served it. Both the salad dressing (on the Nomad Wedge) and my cocktail were so sweet that no other flavors were detectable. Just sugar overload. The lobster truffle Mac and cheese had good flavor, but again the entire dish had been cooked too long and was dried out, not creamy. The popovers were flavorless and disappointing. Not worth the carbs. We had a late reservation and maybe they had sent the A-team home for the night, leaving the apprentices to finish up service. Our other *actual* fine dining experiences in Vegas were far superior: Spago, Michael Mina and especially Estiatorio Milos. Despite the cool ambiance, we will not return to The Nomad Library.

Fresh 2.5# lobster was such a delectable surprise! Fabulous setting with stacks and stacks of books, the collection of David Rockefeller’s. A real treat!

Had the lobster Mac and cheese and the lamb shank and were both cold. The. I returned to lamb and ordered lobster tails but it was cold but at least the lobster was sweet.

Seating for groups of two people was way to close to one another - we had to listen to conversations of table guests next to us and we were unable to have own private conversations without being overheard.
