This is such a treat, such an experience. A beautiful, intimate spot. We were lucky to be seated at a table in sight of the kitchen. The owner/chef stopped by our table a couple of times and told us about his creations. And we ordered things we never would have before (chicken gizzard skewers, which were AMAZING). It is on the pricey side but it’s an experience, not just a normal meal out. Go.

Overall disappointing. Two mixed drinks were weak and not super tasty. Corn bread was great. Sashimi was great. Shrimp and grits was mediocre. They give you a massive single shrimp. It’s a novelty, but not super tasty and a big gross with organs toward the head. Lamb neck was ok. Well cooked, but not really seasoned. Risotto it came with was good. Ooey gooey dessert was very nice. Hand made ice cream very delicious. Great service. I cook myself frequently and we visit high end restaurants a few times a years. This was the most expensive, but the food and drinks were mixed. We’re unlikely to go back, as there are so many better options.

The food, from the ambience, from the knowledgeable staff was AMAZING! So good, we’re going back TODAY. Cole was so helpful & welcoming & the sweet woman from Baton Rouge. Food was PERFECT. Best restaurant in The Nati.

The restaurant team was phenomenal and the owner/Chef goes above and beyond to make sure you get to enjoy his culinary experience. The tastes from his early life and experiences in New Orleans carry through into his well designed seasonal menu. The only staple on the menu the corn bread skillet, should always be enjoyed, especially with a generous amount of steins butter. Only downside is available parking, we actually got towed which was my fault because I ran into an issue with the passport app, but that is the only downside to a remarkable culinary experience.
