   Perfect evening. We elected to sit at the bar instead of our reserved table. The black cod was unbelievably delicious as always.

   The service, food and ambience was very good. All the food was shareable so are able to “sample” various types of goods.

   I've been going to NOBU for decades (when there was only one in Tribeca). I'm not a fan of their business expansion, which has dramatically impacted quality and brand. I've been to several of their newer sites and was surprised to find one in Scottsdale. I have to say, of the "new" Nobu locations, this one gets it right. The staff and the management have got this one in order. I would not hesitate to go back. Last night's experience was as close to the old Nobu experience as one could expect.

   The food was very nice but nothing really wow Staff very nice Just don’t think it’s necessary for the waiter to tell you how to read a drinks / food menu But all in all quite pleasant

   It was good, food and service was up to the level expected of a restaurant in the price range. The issue I had was with the floor plan, they cramped a bunch of seating too close together right next to the kitchen. This resulted in a game of Frogger whenever you use the bathroom, and I now know the travel plans of the party sat next to us.

   The location, food and service were all better than average, but not great. In the world of high-end sushi Nobu Scottsdale seems to be the worst value I’ve experienced. Pricing was so far above what we received ($9 per piece of salmon nigiri, minimum order of 2 is ridiculous…it wasn’t bad, but definitely not worth that price for what we received) especially without being able to customize certain dishes as we have been able to do at Uchi and other world class establishments. Fish selection was above average, but limited compared to other top end restaurants. I’ve had the same quality of fish, service, etc for 70% of the price elsewhere and will likely not return.

   The food was simply outstanding. While pricey, this one is definitely worth it. Every item we had was delicious and creative. We particularly loved the New Style Sashimi and the King Crab Tempura Amazu, while also enjoying the Black Cod Butter Lettuce, Roasted Cauliflower, Salmon Nigiri, and the Toro Scallion Roll. Topping it off at the end were scrumptious deserts - Bento Box and the Whiskey Cappuccino. The service was similarly top notch.

    The wait service was fine but the kitchen was very slow. Been to Nobu in many cities, def not up to my expectations.
