Nobu Atlanta is situated at Phipps Plaza in the affluent Buckhead neighborhood. With influence from Atlanta's lush canopy of trees and Japanese arts and crafts, the bar and lounge area features a white onyx bar volume that sits in front of a 12-foot-long river rock art installation while folded cast glass pendants cast a soft glow on the bar. The dining room takes you to traditional Japanese garden pavilions that were often used for ceremonies and rituals while overscale pendants made from shoji paper create the look of elongated, abstracted paper lanterns. Design language that is a continuation of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa's imaginative and innovative culinary offerings celebrates nature and is integrated through the use of different wood tones

    It was having my own chef to create sushi for me, however the cooked food had to be ordered by another person, and a hostess served me for other items: low salt soy sauce, water, Coke ( which came out flat) but she grabbed be a fresh one. Everything else exceeded all my expectations! Thank you

    Honestly it was the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been to Nobu in Vegas, London, Miami and they were all good. However in this Atlanta location the food wasn’t even edible. We tried appetizers, salad, sashimi and it was all terrible. Too much salt in absolutely every dish and nothing came out in a timely manner. We couldn’t eat anything except the miso cod. We were extremely disappointed. The Atlanta location gives the rest of the chain of restaurants an enormous black eye. Save yourself the time and the headache. Don’t go there.

    It was my wife birthday and she wanted the waiter to take a picture of us. The floor supervisor kept rushing the waiter off and it put a damper on the dinner. This was done twice

    This place is so obviously coasting on the success of its predecessors. We went for NYE, and while the atmosphere was very upbeat and exciting, this actual restaurant was clearly so disorganized and chaotic. We paid for the NYE pre fixe. Never got one of our courses. They were out of almost every wine we asked to try. The food runners were trying to describe our dishes, but didn't know how to explain at least 2 things on each plate. We saw our server twice in 3 hours, but when we did see her she was great. The experience took *3 hours*. Thats truly unreal. The time limit on tables was 1 hour 45 min, but we expected to be there for 2 maybe 2 and a half hours which how busy it was. By the end we were just ready to go and left before we got our final course (dessert). We tried to ask someone but there was no one to be found for almost an hour, and at that point we were just ready to go to bed (1:30am). We were 2 people sat at a table for 5, so receiving food and talking was just really awkward. At one point we just scooted our chairs together on one side of the table This is clearly a "clout" restaurant. What a full on disappointing experience for almost $350/person. There are so many amazing restaurants in this city, sushi or otherwise. This is not one of them. The food was good, but I will never pay that amount of money for just food and a couple of drinks ever again.
